We enjoyed our day trip....

We enjoyed our day trip. Sun was hot, air was humid and heavy, but the place was magical!! We wish we had more time at the cenote, and less time shopping

Good day trip covered lots in one day

This was a very good trip all around and the tour guides were very good and informative. The day was broken up well so that you never felt like you were on the coach too long, I would maybe cut the Mayan shopping village back and give a more time for Valladaloid. The shopping part I was expecting locals to be selling their goods from stalls outside instead it was an extremely commercialised and slick set up and just as pushy as the stalls that align Chichen Itza.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience, we are working to improve the experience and it is very important to us to have feedback on the shopping since this must not be the essence of this activity

Would do again !

This was a full day trip. Both of our tour guides were very nice and informative our whole trip. You could tell they love what they do. We were well taken cared of. Everything was on time and according to plan. There is admission of $13 USD you have to pay for Chichen Itza admission before getting on the bus to get your wristbands. We first stopped at a gift shop to buy souvenir from the Mayan people before going to Chichen itza. The things we bought were proceeds going towards the Mayan children. Rather than buying it at Chichen Itza where it’s all the same things but the money is going to the Mexican government. We also had lunch there. A buffet. The tickets we bought didn’t include drinks, even water. But I brought my own water. So please be sure to bring your own drinks. We then headed to the pyramids. I was warned before that It was veryyyy hot at Chichen Itza. And they were not lying. So wear closed toed shoes. Bring a hat or an umbrella. Preferably an umbrella. Trust me you will need it. There’s was not an ounce of clouds around. Our tour guide, was very nice. Gave us a lot of information on the pyramids first and then let us roam free by ourselves to get pictures. After we went to the cenote. You are required to buy a life jacket and locker which where each $3. So bring extra cash for that. We had about an hour there. And then headed to Valloid. We didn’t spend much time there but about 30 minutes. So we could only grab something to eat and stay close. But it was understandable due to the long day of travel we had. And it was getting dark. So overall it was a 10/10.

Incredible

The visit to the Mayan place on the way was nice although there was a hard sell to buy products and to tip for a buffet, the tour of Chichen Itza was incredible and the cenote to finish was beautiful. Gonzalo, our tour guide, did a fantastic job keeping everyone entertained and comfortable and the bus driver was fantastic, keeping us safe on such a long day.

Good tour, not a transparent itinerary

Great tour with Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid being the must see attractions in Yucatun. Note that the itinerary is completely different to what is advertised. We were very frustrated at times, but don't worry, it will be a highlight of your trip - despite the incredibly slow start.

Great experience, food could be improved though

I was about to go to Chichen Itza with Ado bus, but it was too complicated and this tour offered more than one stop. We were skeptic at the beginning as we hate all the souvenir shops and restaurants stops, but the tour at the end was worth it. We managed to see chichen itza with a well prepared tour guide, the Cenote and the city of Valladolid. We didn't really like the food at the restaurant. It was very "cheap" and not too much choice, but the restaurant was where the souvenir shop was so we didn't have to make more than one stop for it. The Cenote is beautiful, but really crowded. It seemed everybody got there at the same time. The overall experience is worth it. You would spend pretty much the same amount of money to do the 4 things by yourself. Just ve aware that the tour starts at 9:40 and not 9 as advertised here

Best part is Chichen Itzá
David_S
, Jan. 2022
Chichen Itzá was really cool but I wish we had more time there. The short tour plus one hour really wasn't enough time, the cenote was only ok, we decided it wasn't worth swimming in and the other two stops were borderline annoying. The last stop no one seemed to want to do caused us to be stuck behind an accident on the bus for 3 extra hours. Not the operators fault but definitely left us feeling a bit annoyed.

Thank you very much for the feedback, we will consider all those important details in order to improve the experice.

We wait in the meeting point around half an hour to leave to Chichen Itza because the tour guides were arranging who paid and who didn’t. The first stop it was basically to buy souvenirs. In the place, we spent around 2 hours, time unnecessary. After that, we continue our trip to Chichén Itzá and finally it started the good part; honestly the tour guide was amazing and he explained everything great so we enjoyed the visit there. The next stop was at the Xenote; a beautiful one but really crowded of tours, situation that made the experience difficult to enjoy. In general was nice trip because we visited and amazing monument but the organization was kinda terrible.

Great experience
Reena_N
, Dec. 2021
Trip was great! Bus ride wasn’t too long. Bus seats were a little cramped, but still fine. All the stops were cool. Learned a lot about the Mayan culture. I wish we had like 30 more minutes at chichen itza, the crnote, and the park square, and spent less time at the expensive market where we had lunch. It was a little rushed. But overall, it was fun.

The tour was very informative and relaxing. I felt at ease in the tour guides hands. Being able to shop at local Mayan villages was a real treat and I’m happy to know my dollars are going to honest, hard working locals.
