We had our tour with Wayan Dontking, who was the most amazing guide. He was very punctual in picking us up from our hotel, even though it is a bit out of the way in Uluwatu, so I was already surprised he could find us so easily. Next he drove us all the way to padang bai beach. It was definitely quite the drive at over 2 hours, but Wayan did a good job in keeping us entertained with facts about Bali and its history, which was very much appreciated. At snorkeling he did a great job in making sure that we were fully taken care of, both with food and water. The snorkeling itself was also a lot of fun. Blue Lagoon was gorgeous and had a ton of fish, much more colorful than we saw in Hawaii. The fish were also very close to you. The first location we went snorkeling also had a lot of fish, though the amount of plastic we saw in the sea was definitely a bit of a turn off. Blue Lagoon was much cleaner. Finally lunch was quite solid (had the nasi goreng) and every juice was delicious. Wayan was also very flexible and was open to dropping us off at a different location than our hotel so that we wouldn't be late to our next location. Overall, a great time and highly recommend, although, I'd recommend you leave from Kuta or Ubud as Uluwatu is really QUITE far. Wayan was the best tour guide that made the experience so fun even with the long drive!

Fun trip to snorkel and lunch at the Blue Lagoon

We had our tour with Wayan Dontking, who was the most amazing guide. Fantastic driver - Made! Car was very comfortable. Enjoyed the boat journey & two locations for snorkelling. Saw a wide variety of fish & coral. The lunch options were delicious & accommodating for special dietary needs.

Do it once is enough but risking further deterioration of environment

The snorkeling was slightly above average because I was so lucky to see two turtles but at the blue Lagoon, you can see a lot of plastic trash. I don't recommend paying extra the two waterfalls tour unless you are a basic white girl influencer-wannabes, as there is a long line for a photo. However, my driver is Rastu was great. He speaks English very well and was very helpful to explain to us about Indonesian and Balinese culture. Talking and learning from him was my favorite part of the tour.

I'm sorry at that day there was some plastic coming from by river to the sea because it had heavy rained the previous day, I also need to explain here for the waterfall, there are indeed many of tourists who come to get beautiful photos because the waterfall is very beautiful for that, so next time if we have the opportunity for those of you who don't like having lots of guests we will divert to several waterfalls that are empty of guests, so once again I will explain here depending on the needs of the guests themselves. The most wonderful experience snorkeling in the pristine waters of the Blue Lagoon. There was so much marine life. Our driver was fantastic, Made was so friendly and helpful, which made the experience more enjoyable. And the lunch was authentic and delicious.It’s a must do in Bali.

This was a great experience the taxi driver Wyran Lisa collect us on time and took us to the snorkelling area it was near the east of the island so on our journey we were able to see many interesting things from the comfort of the air con car .. Snorkelling was at two sites the first was the best with amazing fish the second sadly had lots of plastic floating in the sea On return you shower change and have light noodle lunch before returning to your hotel … Great day out Recommeded..

The hotel transport, boat ride, and gear provided were all fine. However, the overview on Viator reads “buffet” lunch, when in fact you just pick one Indonesian entree and none of the options were filling or of good quality. The first of two snorkeling spots was scenic underwater; the second wasn’t and the guide kept pointing out “turtles” that weren’t there.
