This was the highlight of our Bali trip. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We learned some Balinese and had great laughs. The dishes were superb - just like what you would get at a Balinese restaurant or food vendor. A great inter-generational family business that we were very happy to support. For USD25, this was a bargain and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

First the driver, he was a very friendly and knowledgeable young man, who picked us right on time and took us back to the hotel The kitchen set up was fabulous, in a Bali compound (family house). There were a lot of helpers, very efficiently working in the background. The chef was very nice and taught us about all the spices that went into nine courses. Everything was on time. We loved the experience, thank you all

We had a fantastic time, The event is very well ran and we cannot recommend it enough. We learned to cook many vegetarian and a few meat dishes- 8 in total. They fitted dietary requirements/allergies too. Very friendly, amazing atmosphere everything went smoothly, food was delicious and recipes sent to us to use again with adaptations provided for different countries as required.

This was a great experience! The teacher is very good, explained everything at a good pace with initial demonstration, and identified each ingredient used & the substitution ingredient within your home country. They also spoke English very well & drove us safely to each location from our hotel. The cooking area was very clean & everyone in the class was encouraged to wash their hands several times throughout the cooking process. Best of all, the food we made was delicious & they sent us the recipes. We’re excited to make these meals at home!

One of the highlights of our trip to Bali. The classes take place in a cosy kitchen in a family home. Everything went super smoothly, from pick-up to the cooking itself. So interesting to learn and taste the Balinese cuisine! Make sure to book the market visit option since we thought it was a fun extra to the experience.

Very fun cooking class would highly recommend to any traveller's. The free pick up and drop off was very smooth, and drivers were very informative on rice fields. Cooking instructor was very fun and thorough. Everyone had a great day. FYI it is 1 hour away by drive from ubud, I feel this should be listed as it seemed like we were just going to the Centre of ubud town

The whole experience was great! They picked us up at our hotel on time, brought us to the rice fields, where we met Katut who was our teacher for the day! We cooked 9 dishes. All phenomenal 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was such a fun morning! The hotel pickup was on time in a nice air conditioned vehicle, we stopped off at a rice field and then headed to the market. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had good English. The cooking class itself was very fun, 12 ppl total, we made 9 dishes and then had it all as a feast at the end. Delicious, educational, and so flavourful. The ingredients were measured and rdy to it was a smooth cooking process for each dish. Definitely recommend !!

Very good half day cookery school with efficient pick-up in Ubud ( outside our hotel) informative and interesting visit to a local market and rice fields. It was about 30 minutes scenic drive to and from the venue (north of Ubud) although driving back the traffic made it more like an hour. We arrived back around 2pm. We were amazed at how much we did in a few hours and the resulting lunch was delicious and generous. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you to Wayan and his family.

We really enjoyed this experience and would recommend to anyone staying in Bali, especially those in Ubud. Our guide and chef was so knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. He brought us fruit and sweet treats to try at the market which was delicious. The market was purely locals, super nice to see and be welcomed into it as an outsider. Really special to learn from someone as we walked too. We also got shown a rice field on the way home. Having the layout explained to us was really interesting. The cooking itself was great! Highly recommend for friends or couples - but I imagine an outgoing single can do it with ease too. The food was great. We made milder dishes due to the majority of the group wanting less spice and some of us had the option to add in more at the end.

From start to finish it was so authentic and our driver and guide come chief was amazing. We started out at a local market leading about the ingredients we were using in the class. We then cooked as a group in a family house owed by a member of guide. The class was fantastic and the end result was great m. We all ate what we cooked and gave the recipes ti cook at home. I would do it again tomorrow. Thank you so very much for a great day.

We had a great time learning how to cook some delicious Balinese dishes with Wayan and his family. Wayan was a great teacher and showed us step by step how to prepare & cook each dish and all of them tasted delicious. We would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn about Balinese cuisine.

The people were lovely, the food was good and the set up was great. John, our driver was awesome to deal with. We also enjoyed stopping at the market as well as the rice field at the start of the class.
