      What a delightful class we had with Filippo. Starting with the astonishing array of seafood at the Rialto market and proceeding with a walk to his pristine and modern private kitchen. We enjoyed collaborating on a rather extensive menu while sipping on various wines. He has a very fun and personable style - .and we’ll definitely make everything again with the recipes he sent to us all after class. Recommend!

      I had a great time, thanks Filippo. I did other cooking classes in many place - and this experience in Venice is one of my favorite. It was great, fun, welcoming and delicious. We were 8 people and really felt at ease at the chef's table. Each of us had a chance to try the cooking, and it all felt like a party :)

      This was such a great experience! Filippo was very genuine and knowledgeable. The kitchen space is absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. I found the market tour to be very interesting too. At the time I booked, I was a little nervous because there were only 13 reviews, but Filippo mentioned he had only started offering these classes a few months ago, so don’t be thrown off by that! Book it!

      This experience has exceeded all of my expectations. The Chef was extremely knowledgeable of Italian cuisine and was very well versed on showing us how make several courses. We truly enjoyed this.

      It was amazing. We did it as a couple and enjoyed it very much. We made 3 courses, which we can easily recreate at home. After the class, we received the recipe of the 3 courses and an extra one.

      This is the best cooking class I had. There are a few things useful for you to know: 1. The class last about 4 hours covering a market tour and stops quickly at some authentic shops in Venice like spices, fresh pasta, cookies etc so you get a lot of information 2. Chef is a professional chef, young and super fun and very attentive. He read all the notes we sent and adjust the menu based on our preference. Thank you so so much!! We love you. There are a few teenagers in the group but he was able to engage everyone in the class, all have fun. 3. The kitchen is clean, modern, cooking studio is super cool with an outdoor eating area (maybe for the summer). Very private and quiet studio inside the middle of Venice 4. Meetig point is at rialto market - it is a fresh seafood and vegetable market inside Venice, about 10 minutes from San Marco Square, super convinient to get too and freshest food to get 5. This cooking class gives you so much more compared to others. You start with a sparkling wine (splitz?) and appetizer (salami, cheese), then cook 3 courses. At the end you will have a first course (spaghetti/pasta), main (scallop or fish) and a dessert (tiramisu), chief will pair with a wine too. So you basically get the whole meal, and tiramisu is so good. The same quality of high end place I ate in Rome for over 10+ per tiramisu. I can go on and on more about good things about the chef and the studio . This is really a fun experience and we learnt, cooked and laughed together, and eat with good food at the end. Worth your money. You really have to join and see it for yourself.

      We had a few problems with the slow communication via the Viator app, combined with the poor instructions for the meeting place and dreadfully slow Google Maps GPS. However, when we did eventually meet up with Filippo, having totally missed the Market shopping experience, we found him very cheerful, kind and professional as well as hospitable. We all enjoyed his excellent cooking, endless patience and encouragement and the food was delicious! Filippo was not the slightest bit arrogant and his mastery of both English and Spanish (for the other guests) was remarkable. He was most generous with the food (fresh scallops and asparagus in season), education, his time, delicious wine and prosecco. We would love to return for more education and perhaps even ask Filippo to come to the UK to teach a group of our own friends too?! Many thanks again for a wonderful experience, Filippo, we would all highly recommend it!

      Filippo e’ molto disponibile e professionale. Il giro al mercato ci ha consentito di conoscere i pesci di laguna tipici del posto. Ha creato una cucina per i corsi veramente bella e accogliente. Eravamo in 9, di 5 paesi differenti ma ci siamo subito sentiti accolti come in casa di amici. Bellissima atmosfera. La lezione di cucina e’ stata interessante e riesce a soddisfare ogni livello di conoscenza. Pranzo ottimo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

      Ein Highlight unseres Venedig-Urlaubs. Schon während der Markt-Tour hat man extrem viel gelernt und sich gut unterhalten! Fillipo ist ein wirklich offener, sympathischer Mensch der von Beruf italienischer Chefkoch ist. Außerhalb des Markts zeigte er uns auch einige abgelegene Straßen in der Nähe und hatte auf jegliche Fragen über Venedig eine Antwort. Da wir kein Frühstück hatten wollten wir während unseres Spaziergang einen Snack kaufen, doch Fillipo bestand darauf stattdessen belegte Baguettes in seinem Apartment zu essen. Dort wurde dann zusammen mit verschiedensten Weinsorten und Aperitiven gemeinsam gekocht. Wir haben viel gelacht und wirklich alles selbst erledigen können. Bei der Rezeptwahl konnten wir jegliche Wünsche äußern und hatten somit am Ende ein sehr leckeres Menü, dass wir zusammen genießen konnten. Wir können es nur allen empfehlen die eine amüsante und lehrreiche Erfahrung machen wollen, mit Rezepten die man auch mal daheim nachkochen kann. A highlight of our Venice vacation. Already during the market tour you learned a lot and had a lot of fun! Fillipo is a really open, likeable person who is an Italian chef by profession. Outside of the market, he also showed us some secluded streets nearby and had an answer to any questions we had about Venice. Since we didn't have breakfast, we wanted to buy a snack during our walk, but Fillipo insisted on eating baguettes in his apartment instead. There we cooked together with a wide variety of wines and aperitifs. We laughed a lot and were really able to do everything ourselves. When choosing the recipes, we were able to express any wishes and in the end we had a very tasty menu that we could enjoy together. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fun and educational experience, with recipes you can try at home.
