Please note! You will need to purchase a ticket to enter the gardens of Versailles, as you need to cross the gardens to reach the gate that leads to the Domain of Marie-Antoinette. The ticket will cost 8.50€ or 9.50€ depending on the day of your visit. Please allow yourself plenty of time, ticket lines can be long and it is about a 15 minute walk through the gardens to reach the gate.
This tour is best suited to guests who are already in Versailles visiting the palace and gardens in the morning, or guests who have previously visited and know the palace and gardens and wish to explore more.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travellers

Overall a this was a wonderful guided trip, very educational. It was such a great experience. We had the best guide, who painted a lovely story of Marie Antoinette for us all.

Fantastic, knowledgeable, and very personable guide. Excellent pace and volume of information. Our teenagers were engaged and enjoyed all of the quirky facts our guide shared to keep them interested. Would recommend our guide and this tour.

Waste of money

Horrible! Tip to all - these tickets do not include entrance into the gardens. You have to buy those separately . Furthermore , the mobile network is very poor at the chateau, so if you have downloaded anything, you won’t be able to access the audio guide! Waste of money and the customer service at Viator is terrible.

Truly exceptional tour. Ivan was absolutely fantastic. We were a little disappointed that the train wasn’t running and we were unable to “peek inside Marie Antoinette’s theater” as listed on the booking site, but otherwise an incredible experience, really well done. 10/10 would recommend

We are sorry that you missed it. Our tour guide was nice but not informative about the subject. We did not learn many things and she went to quickly through the tour. She was unable to answer simple questions about the tour.
