A must do if you really want to see Versailles in a day.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The golf cart tour is the only to view the gardens. We took the train out from Paris which was running late. Concerned we were able to contact our guide through the phone number provided and informed him. The location to meet our guide Phillip was very easy to find. Versailles is huge. The gardens and fountains are beautiful. Phillip was very informative, interesting and knowledgeable. We were there on a Sunday and he was able to get us to the fountains as they were going off. Inside the Palace, Phillip was able to weave us through all the crowds and position us to view the rooms then inform us of various events that took place. He pointed out one room which was not open for viewing but you could somewhat see into, was where Benjamin Franklin came to ask the King for money to support the American Revolution.

Anna was a terrific guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. There was some confusion about our tickets but that was cleared up quickly. The Palace was over the top opulent, the gardens not so much. None of the fountains were working and it felt more like a desert in the 33c weather.

Terrific tour by Phillip, we all enjoyed it, including our three year old. We were met exactly on time, then taken to our guide who had already checked out a golf cart to take us around the garden. The guide was knowledgeable and charming, really understood what we were hoping to see.

We were so excited to see the garden in our golf cart UNTIL we were assigned to our guide who smelled… I immediately went on the app and requested they changed my guide but NO ONE REPLIED. No one contacted me and I was STUCK in that unpleasant situation. I will say , he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic but unfortunately we couldn’t fully enjoy the experience due to his lack of hygiene. So if you’re gonna pay this much please request that the operator at least provides you with someone who understands the experience that you’re looking for.

Debated doing this tour because it is certainly not cheap… But it was so worth it! Alex was magnificent, the rare mix of a guide with both an exceptional amount of knowledge and the ability to present it as a fun and captivating story. I wish I could tour the whole country learning from a guide that talented! Not sure if it’s possible to request a specific guide and maybe others are that good too, but if you’re lucky enough to tour with him, you’ll be glad you splurged on this!

Hi. We did the private tour of Versailles palace with gold tour of the gardens. Our guide was very good, really got the kids engaged and did a great job. My only complaint is that the tour was supposed to be 3hours, but it was really only 2 hours. We checked in at 2:15pm for a 2:30 tour…but our golf carts weren’t ready until 3:10. Garden tour was only 50min, as we had timed palace tickets for 4pm, and we were done with the palace at 5:15pm. Overalll good and it’s very helpful to have a private tour with kids…but I felt that the time was not well planned and a bit short changed.

Fantastic way to see Versailles. The golf cart tour of the gardens was one hour and we saw so much more than we would have on foot. Our guide was so knowledgeable and pleasant. With her, it was easy to see the inside too despite the crowds as she knew how to navigate and she is the highlights. Get a glass of the fresh squeezed orange juice !

Anatole was an incredible guide! It was our first time in France and although we had limited knowledge of french history Anatole's story telling ability made us all feel as if we were experts by the time we left. His animated and warm personality also made the three hours fly by as he was more than happy to answer all of our questions as well as stop for an abundance of picture opportunities. Even beyond this tour, we had run into Anatole a couple days before at a different location while looking for a different tour guide from the same company. Anatole took the time to make sure we found our guide before he left on his tour and even assured us that if our guide did not show up he was more than happy to let us join his group. We are so thankful for his kindness and would recommend him (and this company) to everyone we know. If you are wondering if you should splurge on either the private tour or the golf cart tour I cannot recommend it enough. We did both and although I'm sure we would have enjoyed it no matter what, it was beyond worth the money spent to be able to see more of the grounds, ask questions, and stop to take pictures at our own pace.
