The Palace itself was too over the top for my taste and lacked enough specific information. The audio tour did not sufficiently describe everything. The gardens were breathtakingly beautiful. So well maintained. Insufficient signage to let you know where you were.

Viator has been having a lot of problems lately (see multiple reviews). We booked a tour with audio but had to pay extra for devices at the palace as the ticket only allowed entry, not a self guided tour. The palace / museum recommended to always use official website for bookings. Now I am reaching them for refunds but no one has reached back after an initial ‘someone will get in touch with you asap’ note. (In all fairness the rules had changed just a week before our trip but Viator as a service provided SHOULD HAVE HAD THE COURTESY to proactively update foreign tourists about the mess they will run into when they reach the palace.

It was a last minute purchase. Despite of having difficulty getting QR code, the customer service stuffs on the phone were efficient, courteous and quick!! I was very impressed with their quality of service that they provided us. Of course everything after that went smoothly. We first did the garden and Trianon. Avec ce forfait, je pensais que j’aurais une façon de me répéter dans le jardins. Je me suis plutôt rendu compte que j’avais payé cher pour rien car tout le monde avait le même accès que moi. Je comprends que je faisais plus réserver une heure d’entrée pour ne pas faire la file. J’aurais préféré prendre un autre forfait qui m’aurait permis de voir plus. Et la voiturette dans les jardins c’est un must.
