This unique eCruiser tour of the Capitol provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Washington, DC and its many famous landmark locations.

Climb aboard a nifty eCruiser vehicle — an open-air, eco-friendly electric cart that offers as much in style as it does with substance.

The tour begins at one end of the famed Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum and research complex. Travel along through the historic monument areas, taking in the famous Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington Monuments, each a classic Washington DC icon in its own right. Then see the World War I, World War II, Korean War Veterans and the Vietnam Veterans memorial sites.

Next, see the most famous DC landmark of all, the White House, followed by Capitol Hill. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. The final decision on cancelling a tour will occur at least 1 hour prior to departure and all possible guests will be contacted.
Carts accommodate most types of infant seats and we encourage parents to bring their own. We can provide an infant seat, as long as a guest calls us at least 48 hours before the tour and informs us of the age and weight of the infant.
Wheelchairs can be accommodated, but we need to know in advance.
The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This was our first tour in DC and I highly recommend it. It was a cold day, and the guide brought big nice blankets for us to bundle up in. It was a very educational and fun tour. I can’t remember our tour guides name but she was from New York and knew everyone and everything. 10/10 recommend.

Riding in an open air cart was really fun for the kids, particularly good on a hot day. Our guide was sweet, but overall the content of the tour was pretty dry—date-heavy mostly architectural tour. I would have liked to learn more about people and events, both current and historic and heard funny or memorable stories as we’ve enjoyed on tours of other cities.

I was a bit disappointed. Our tour was I. Mid February, so I knew there was a chance it would be cold, but the site stated they provided blankets and the image of the “car” was enclosed. However, since we have 6 passengers-when we arrived it was an open “car” and no blankets were provided - it had been raining that morning and they indicated they would get wet. I had also hoped the guide would be walking with us to the monuments and providing the history and details. Our driver was very knowledgeable, but only from the “car”. We overheard another tour (from another company) the night before and I was hopeful we would have the same experience. Please be more accurate with your communications.
