Alan is the best tour guide we've ever had! As soon as we booked the tour, he called so we could discuss the agenda. He made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. He is extremely knowledgeable about Washington's history! He told us so much more than the Capitol tour guides and shared with us all the little secrets! Alan was a wonderful storyteller with vast historical knowledge. He was entertaining and charismatic. He did an incredible job building the schedule and securing the logistics of parking, ticketing, etc. taking the pressure off of the family so that we could see as much as we possibly could in the limited amount of time that we had in DC. By far one of our most treasured experiences and we owe that to the special talent shared to us by Alan.

My teenage son and I had an incredibly enlightening and enjoyable experience on our recent private tour with Alan in Washington DC. From the moment we began planning our excursion, Alan's excellent communication skills were apparent. He thoroughly listened to our interests and tailored an itinerary to match. He adeptly avoided the typical tour guide pitfall of being a droning lecturer; instead, he was engaging, knowledgeable, and had a knack for presenting information in a way that kept us both captivated throughout the tour. Alan's ability to adjust the itinerary on the fly to ensure we were always at the right place at the right pace was commendable. This made our trip less about ticking off a checklist of sights and more about enjoying and understanding each attraction in depth. Not only did he cover the highlights of the city, but he also managed to weave in lesser-known facts and figures that enriched our experience. The tour was an enjoyable mix of education, exploration, and bonding for my son and me. In Alan, we didn't just find a tour guide, but a story-teller and a passionate ambassador of Washington DC.

Alan Feldman was our fantastic tour guide! First of all, I just want to say… this guy is absolutely amazing!!! Alan is not your ordinary boring tour guide…He is knowledgeable about all of the monuments and sites we visited and is a wonderful storyteller! I could listen to him talk all day! Alan has a genuinely caring personality and was very accommodating to everything we wanted to see and do. I felt like I had known him all of my life! After touring the monuments he would walk back to the car and drive back to pick us up so we didn’t have to walk so far. I loved the fact that we could tailor our tour to the sites we were interested in seeing. Alan made our tour exciting and memorable!! Thank you Alan!!!

Our family toured Arlington and D.C. historical sites with Alan at Concierge Tours last week. He was very personable, knowledgeable and flexible - customizing our tour to incorporate our special interests. (Ford's Theater and Petersen House). He always put forth an extra effort to put us in the best possible position/location to enjoy each site. His expertise was especially valuable in touring Arlington. He knows the location and history behind many famous graves and planned our tour to include excellent viewing of The Changing of the Guard and wreath laying ceremonies. Everywhere we went Alan was able to point out surprising details not known to most. Our tour was worth every penny, and we can't recommend Alan highly enough!

We were a group of 3 adults and a toddler. We made arrangements the night before for the tour on a whim. Allen was prompt picking us up from our Air BnB, we got the car seat installed in the vehicle and we were off! Describing Allen in a few words: helpful, knowledgeable, cordial and verbose. He was fantastically patient with us and had a ton of stories and facts about everything we saw (and some we didn't). The tour was well organized: we started on Capital Hill, then proceeded to a monuments tour (Washington, Lincoln, WWII, Vietnam, etc.). We wrapped the tour with Arlington National Cemetary and then back to the Air BnB, thoroughly satisfied and exhausted. We really enjoyed our tour and highly recommend it!

Alan was pretty cool for parents and kids. Optimistic and professional from the moment we promptly met. Alan personalized an itinerary quickly as we booked the tour only a night before. The ride was to our safety preference (discussed vaccine and masks early) and the vehicle was clean. Our children’s needs for novelty and breaks was accommodated to help adjust for their needs to focus and concentrate on historical lessons shared by Alan. Overall, it was a relaxing, educational, and fun tour.

We had A great tour with Alan. He is passionate about history and has a very easy-going personality. It was the highlight of our trip to Washington to be able to learn so many cool things about the city. We really appreciated how considerate he was and how much he went out of his way to make sure we had the best time possible. We will definitely see him again if we come back to the city. I would not rebook through Viator though. They offered zero flexibility when we needed to move our times- Despite how much they brag about the flexibility all over their website. The customer service representative we spoke to at Viat. when we needed to change our times, was terrible. But we called Alan and he easily accommodated us and went out of his way to make it work despite already being fully booked. We will go direct to the tour company next time and skip the middleman. Thanks Alan, we will see you again soon have a great season!
