Our tour guide, Wayne, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and extended every hospitable courtesy. I enjoyed his quirky historical anecdotes, a refreshing take on history. The food was fabulous, and we met so many nice people. This tour was the highlight of our DC trip. Thank you, Wayne.
Christian is and awesome tour guide
Hilliard_S, May 2023
Christian was so full of knowledge about and so well spoken about everything DC and made the tour interesting, fun as well as the food being great. His winning personality made the whole group at ease with each other and made us all feel like long friends instead of just meeting
Excellent food

My family and I really enjoyed this food tour. It is one of the best ones we’ve been on so far. The food was excellent and filling. We enjoyed all of the restaurants we visited. Our tour guide Wayne was engaging and kept us entertained with lots of historical facts, stories and anecdotes about the Georgetown area.

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about the history of Georgetown and get exposed to the food experiences available there. This is a jumping off point for exploration! Wayne was an amazing guide and historical whiz! The food was pretty good overall, worth the money in my opinion.

Joy in Georgetown!
Ann_S, Mar 2023
One of the best food tours I've taken thus far! So informative about Georgetown, nice healthy walk, and enjoyed the food at each destination. Great company with the people on the tour too.
Good food, not so much history
Shona_R, Mar 2023
All the food was excellent. Each place has something great. The links to Georgetown other than being situated there were tenuous or non-existent and I expected more history in the venues. There was a problem with payment in one venue which the guide offered no support in which was very disappointing.
Super tour!

Fair tour to kill some time
Abigail_F, Feb 2023
Robert was vey pleasant and funny. Meetup location was easy to find. First stop was italian resturant. Food was bland. Wish we could have got more info on the resturant and the context of the location. Was it italian community? Who knows. Next stop was tapas. Again how did tapas end up in Georgetown? Food was ok. It was nice to get a shrimp dish and try their more popular dishes. Felt like got my money's worth at that stop. We stopped in at Mexican place. Seafood again was good. Drinks not included in the tour. Last stop dessert was 1 macaroon. Overall felt like should of got more for the money including more details on why we were visiting those resturants and more info on Georgetown. I would recommend it but know what you're getting.
Must do - well worth the experience

Great good with a very experienced guide. The phenomenal added bonus was getting to see the historical places as we walk through Georgetown.
Great guide, lousy food
JoAnn_A, Dec 2022
Our tour guide was phenomenal. He had a lot of info about the various interesting buildings and characters in Georgetown. What was a shame (or a sham) were the restaurant selections, or the food items they chose to serve us. The first, Flavio, was the only one that was very tasty: Gnocchi, a large meatball, and panini with olive oil. The next two were very uninteresting and uninspired. “Bodega” was supposed to be tapas. It was incredibly mediocre. I am quite familiar with Spanish Tapas, and this couldn’t have been more uninspiring. Teeny tiny Gambas Al Ajillo, Patatas Brava that just tasted of Tabasco, and sautéed mushrooms. The third was a Mexican restaurant. We made a quick stop at a macaroon shop where we were allowed to select one, which was very good. Let’s be honest, on a food tour I was expecting some unique and exciting food. The image on the listing is lovely cheeses and wine. Other than the great guide, this was so disappointing.
fun and historic tour
JERROLD_V, Dec 2022
wayne, the guide, told interesting humorous little known historic stories that made our tour fun and informative.
