Great tour… with delicious food and stories!
Catherine_G, May 2023
Our tour guide McKendry brought the storied neighborhoods of Georgetown to life… and, importantly, led us on a wonderful food adventure! All the food stops were great, including City Sliders, with shockingly good Vegan Banh Mi, and Dog Tag Bakery, with its wonderful service & fun interior.

Definitely was full at the end of the tour. Our tour guide, Christine was great! Highly recommend her! There were just 4 stops which would be fine, if every stop was impressive, however the last 2 we were underwhelmed, there was a vegetarian taco stop which had potato in it, which we thought was an odd choice, and the last stop was a bakery where we were served a packaged item instead of a fresh bakery item.
Great tour

We do a food tour every city we go to, and this was the best by far. The food was full size so you were stuffed, and the tour guide was awesome, very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend A++
Enjoyable Georgetown Food Tour
Jan_M, Apr 2023
Our guide was a good storyteller as she narrated some of the history of Georgetown. We met interesting people and shared some delicious food.
Great entertaining food experience

Great Guide But The Food Fell Short
John_H, Apr 2023
1st stop was a deli/meat market where we were served a large pieroshki (nice crust but the filling was just okay) and a bite of half-smoke on a tooth pick. 2nd stop served us a slider that was out of this world and a beer tasting or soda. 3rd stop was a at a vegan taco place that served us a taste creamed kale taco. 4th and last stop was at a veteran owned bakery which I appriciated as a veteran but we were given a prepakaged Bolondie that was also just okay. Our guide was teriffic but the food fell short so overall, the experience was not a great value.
Informative and Delicious Outing
Frederick_S, Apr 2023
The food and drink choices were ample and delicious. Our guide, Haleigh, did a great job of explaining what to expect at each stop and was knowledgeable about the area of Georgetown we toured between food stops. She kept everyone engaged in the conversation. It was a relaxing, informative and delicious outing.
Would suggest different restaurants.
Deborah_P, Apr 2023
1 of 3 food choices. Did not care for 1 and 3. Appreciate the value of the success of the businesses and how they give back to the community and especially veterans. Guide was mostly knowledgeable about the area but extemporaneous questions were not readily answered.
A fantastic tour and guide

Marsha was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job bringing the neighborhood to life and accommodating my wheelchair. We tried a great variety of food and would definitely take the tour again!

Nice culinary afternoon in Georgetown.
Alan_S, Oct 2022
The tour, conducted by Dave, was very interesting. He provided us with historical background on many of the unique homes in Georgetown. The restaurant samples, were, for the most part, enjoyable and tasty.
Great time!

McKendry is a wonderful guide
Holly_C, Aug 2022
I stayed in Georgetown while visiting family in Northern Virginia. The tour was new for all of us and we absolutely enjoyed it. McKendry was a fabulous guide and answered questions about restaurants beyond the tour to help me with the remainder of my trip.
Fun trip solo or with a group!
Neha_R, July 2022
Fun and engaging tour! I didn’t have plans for the long weekend so decided to do this solo and it was a fun time! The tour guides engage the group in conversation and share a lot of interesting trivia about DC along the way. Was also vegetarian friendly!
Foodie Tour
Kim_B, June 2022
Really enjoyable tour. Tour guide was personable & knowledgeable. Food samples were full size portions & all delicious. Would do it again.
Culinary delights included with Georgetown history and architecture!
Linda_J, May 2022
So much fun!!! Marsha was an incredible guide. She shared with us her immense knowledge of Georgetown history and also included fun, unconfirmed facts! We went off the well-worn path and were brought to local establishments where the regular tourist would have no clue were there. Unexpected culinary delights were so appreciated. Our group was lucky enough to have a doo-wop star who serenaded us on John and Jackie's front porch. Thank you Norman! Highly recommend this tour!
Fabulous Georgetown foodie tour
