What To Expect

Meet your guide at the National Archives Building, in the heart of Washington, DC and start your 6-hour DC sites tour on a comfortable bus. Trace a route through all the major memorials; at each stop, your guide will escort you through the site, sharing insider stories and history along the way.

You’ll see the White House and the U.S. Capitol Building from the outside, and have plenty of time to walk around memorials to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Abraham Lincoln. Pay your respect to fallen soldiers at the Korean Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, World War II Memorial, the Air Force Memorial, and the United States Marine Corps War Memorial that depicts marines raising the American flag above Iwo Jima.

Get tips on the best place to eat during an independent meal and shopping break at the Pentagon City Shopping Mall, then board a Potomac River boat boat for a scenic cruise through the heart of the city. Note: the Potomac River Cruise is offered April 18th - October 10th. In fall and winter the tour will visit the Jefferson Memorial in lieu of the river cruise.

Cancelled tour

This tour was cancelled more than 24 hours prior and not happy with the response from tour company and/or Viator. They informed me that this tour could not be refunded but another tour for later the same day could. Both tours were cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. Not happy with response from company when doing what they “require” for a refund.

This tour of the various monuments was wonderful! Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also made sure we knew if a particular stop was very walk intensive. This gave people to option of staying on the bus if they didn't feel they could handle the amount of walking for that particular stop.

The tour itself was great. Larry was amazing. Just wish there was more time to visit the gift shops. Also the guy Zuma that verifies the trips told my family that they did not do hotel pickups after we had confirmed this three times with customer service. He was rude and quite aggressive over the phone.

I liked the bus tour itself, I didnt care for the tour guide, he wasnt kind and very pushy. He often didnt walk with us and tell us about the sites. He sort of told us and pointed and he was supposed to be the boss. The driver was good and super nice. They did hand out free cold water, which was nice. We used their night tour the day before and loved April! Even my son said he doesnt know much like April, ask for April, she is fantastic. I Do not normally tip on a tour but I tippped her well the night before. I didnt tip him, I didnt feel he put effort in.

I would recommend this tour. Tour was worth it's money. We could not have ask for a better tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. Also have to give the driver his props, he was very good driver. Now getting to the tour, great tour, we cover a lot of the sights in what was suppose to be a 6 hr tour, but end up being more like a 7 hr tour. No complaints. Just make sure you have good walking shoes, you're going to need them.

Amazing tour. A driver picked me up from my hotel right on-time at 9:30 am. There was a motorcade on that day so we missed out the White House but the tour guide Dwayne was very friendly and professional. He was able to bring us around to all the other monuments and explained all their historical details with great knowledge and interest throughout the day. Overall, it was a well-organized tour ended with an-hour cruise along the Potomac River. The weather was perfect as a nice sunny and clear Labor Day Sunday which made it even more memorable. When my trip ended and I was already back home, I remembered Dwayne took our group photo in front of the Jefferson Memorial. I found it on the Signature Tour Company Facebook and I was already looking forward to my next vacation. I'll recommend this tour to anyone and I'll definitely look up for other tour destinations with Signature again on my next trip to D.C.!!
