What To Expect

Meet the guide and the rest of the tour group at the National Archives Building to begin this comprehensive 6-hour tour around and through the nation’s capital, Washington DC. Travel aboard an air-conditioned motorcoach with an expert local guide who knows the city inside and out.

Visit the most popular monuments, memorials, and museums in DC. Drive by 30 of Washington, DC’s top sites with stops at 12 of them, including the United States Capitol, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Marine Corps War Memorial (aka the Iwo Jima Memorial), the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Women’s Memorial and the United States Air Force Memorial.

Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. There is a lunch break at approximately the halfway point of the day.

This tour also features a scenic boat cruise along the Potomac River (seasonally, approximately April - mid October) and a chance to stop at either George Washington Harbor or DC Wharf for lunch on own.

  • There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

Sunday, Feb 5th. Tyron, our tour guide, has vast knowledge of the history of all the monuments we visited. He also interacted with all of us in the bus making the trip fun and educative. He was ready to take pictures with our camera so the three of us would show in the same picture (Me, My Wife and Son) The bus driver was also very kind helping a family with a baby to take the stroller in and out at every stop. Highly recommended. We would do it again next time, just make sure to book with Tyron.

Great tour of the monuments and the city. Dave and Kriss were fantastic guides. Dave’s knowledge of Washington and the US gave us great insight to the history of the country. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone coming to Washington for the first time. We visited in December so missed the river cruise, have to come back in summer time.

Ty was phenomenal! He was knowledgeable and fun. Ty kept the larger group together and pointed out so many interesting facts. There is a lot of walking/standing so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. It was cold outside as well so dress in layers. Chris, the driver, passed out bottled water and was helpful as well. We were able to visit so many sites and I believe this your is the one to take if you want to get a view of the top sites in D.C.
