I got to the location and they had no Idea what I had purchased but it wasn't entry to Fords Theater. Scam!

The product's title is "Lincoln's Assassination: A Self-Guided Audio Tour" and on the product page, we say that entry into attractions mentioned on the tour aren't included. We had a beautiful day and really enjoyed the walk. We did get confused with location a few times. In the future, I would listen to the tour before going, so as to be familiar with the information. I think we spent too much time trying to make sure we were in the right spot for the information.

I didn't go - tours are FREE if you just walk up to the window. Your Web site did not make it clear that I was not dealing with the Ford Theater directly.

I lost my money on this booking. The Lincoln museum said there was no such thing as an audio tour AND the tour was free. At first I was informed it was 40 for 2 people and then wonder of wonder I got a credit so that I only had to pay 2.00. I believe I was scammed

I'm not sure what has happened here Rhonda, but this certainly isn't a scam. This is a self-guided walking tour with the VoiceMap app that starts at Lafayette Park and ends at Ford's Theatre. It is not an entrance ticket to the museum at Ford's Theatre or any of the other attractions en route. This is clearly stated in the description, and the list of exclusions specifically lists, "tickets or entrance fees to any museums or other attractions en route". We also sent you a message soon after receiving your booking confirming this, and explaining how the app works. We do this for every booking. I can see that Viator has processed a partial refund for you, but at no point did we receive any communication from you or from them. I'm sorry you feel like you were scammed. This is obviously not a positive outcome for us. But it's hard to know what we could have done differently here.

I have tried to have my purchase canceled. The place was closed and this app still took my money and there’s no way they can cancel this purchase for $35 never again I will try to use it.

Because of the blocked streets we could not experience the tour at all. We couldn’t even get to the starting location. I am pursuing a refund. Quite disappointed.

We've also messaged you through Viator because we'd like to also give you credit for a free tour, in any of VoiceMap's 200 plus destinations. We do try to stay up to date on roads closures and other events that might prevent people like you from doing a tour, but 2020 has not made this easy.
