    We were told by the operator that booked our tour that the driver was a tour guide. Luckily the driver knew a little history of Washington DC and knew all the major sights to take us. Our driver was very kind but I think this company, Viator, is a scam. They told us it was a guided tour of the city, not just a driver, they lied to get us to sign up and give our credit card to secure the booking. It was overpriced for what we received. The driver felt badly that we were deceived and it put him in an awkward position. I would NOT use this company ever again.

    Hi Chris, I am so sorry to know this. I discussed your response with the driver and figured out that there was communication gap between you and "Viator" support team. This package does not include dedicated tour guide but our drivers are very experienced. Dedicated tour guide costs additional. As you have not a very pleasant experience overall, I am offering you 50% discount on your next tour.
