We enjoyed the afternoon/evening bike tour around the monument and memorials around DC. Josh was our guide and was wonderful. He had great information about each monument/memorial and some side stories to go with them too. Fully enjoyed the tour and definitely would recommend it to anyone (we saw 16 monuments/memorials in 3 hours).

DC at dusk

Great relaxing bike tour, with an incredible and knowledgeable guide, seeing Washington dc at dusk was just beautiful. Fantastic experience!
Not a moonlight monument tour
LisaMingoia, May 2023
We do a bike tour in every city we visit and this has to rate as the worst experience. It was supposed to be a moonlight monument tour and we only saw two at night. The route was not well planned and there were literally throngs and bus loads of people getting out of the bus as we were attempting to “ride” by. I should say barely able to walk out bikes. The guide tried his best but was not as knowledgeable as other guides we overheard. The bikes were equipped with non working lights and we were literally riding in pitch blackness when it finally got dark outside. Some of our fellow riders had no lights. Obviously the company didn’t care about safety or they would have checked the equipment prior to departing. Nobody was at the location when we arrived at the end of the tour to help our guide with the equipment nor was anyone available to talk to try to get a credit for this experience. Would not recommend.
Should be labeled for 13 and up, but good tour

Great way to see all of the monuments. But a little nerve wracking with the crowds. It would be helpful to have a guide in front and back to help keep the group together. Our group got separated twice due to crowds.
Easy Ride, amazing experience!

Guided to experience our Nations monuments with a deeper appreciation. Why was Martin Luther King’s monument made in stone? Why do the states on the “Pacific” side of the WWII monument border the Atlantic Ocean? … examples of a few details that enhance the experience. Highly recommend!
Enjoyable experience

David was a great guide. He navigated us around the monuments around tons of people. He shared interesting info with us and we were able to walk around the monuments while he stayed with the bikes. Fun evening 😊
Sunset Biking 🚴🏽‍♀️ to the giants (monuments)

The evening tour is the best. You get part day and part night on the tour for the best pics (and weather). The guide was well informed and educational. I would do it again as this is the easiest and up close access tour I have experienced
Just okay

I’ve been on many tours and unfortunately I felt pretty bummed by this one. Upon arrival, the staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. 3 different people told our group 3 different sets of instructions and it was very rushed and chaotic. Once all was settled, the tour began and the bikes worked great, but then our guide didn’t really engage much with the group. Normally it’s nice to (at least) have someone personable enough to ask things like “where is everyone from?” Or “what do people know about DC?” Etc. But rather our guide gave us the basic Wikipedia facts about each site and then sat back on the bike and scrolled on his phone the whole time. I don’t recall him ever once asking “does anyone have any questions” or really seeming passionate about the sites much at all. To summarize, this is for people who want to pay to have someone take you around and drop you off at all the sites for 10 mins at a time, but otherwise this was overpriced for what I felt a good tour experience should’ve been.
Fun experience, be careful if you have younger kids

Overall this was a great experience. Albert, our tour guide, was fantastic, personable and knowledgeable. We saw a lot and it was fun to see some of the monuments at night. Only con - this tour is a little unsafe. It was extremely crowded where we were driving through and parts go through high traffic areas (cars, buses, etc) I thought we'd be on bike paths the whole way and was a little concerned about my 10-year-old near the roads but overall it was fine.
A must in DC.

Best part of our trip! Thanks Eric B for teaching us more about our country and its leaders. We felt safe while enjoying the beautiful sites.
Erick B will take care of you

Erick B was an amazing tour guide. He even helped us get back to the metro at night and walked with us. And told us what line to hop on. Amazing guy!
Best way to see monuments

Eric B was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. This is the best way to visit the monuments. Biking was slow and easy.

This is an amazing bike tour and a lot of fun for families, couples, etc. we saw over 10 monuments in three hours.
See it all!

We had a great experience with our tour guide Alex. He was very informative, told us interesting facts about the monuments and history, and he was very attentive to all members of the group, our needs, checking to make sure everyone was okay, and offered to take pictures. The bikes were super comfortable and well kept; the techs at the shop got everyone fitted and adjusted quickly. Check in process was easy. The ride itself was fun. Beautiful at night. Great tour! We will do it again if we come back.
Great experience.

While you can visit all the monuments on your own, taking the bike tour is an excellent way to see everything in a three hour period. Steve was a good guide. He provided us overviews and tidbits at each memorial. He was not a detailed tour guide but did give you an overview and then let you have time to explore each site. Only disappointment is we didn’t stop at the Korean memorial but we did bike by. Also, we were on the 4:30 tour. It is not a night tour. Sun is starting to go down at the end but none of the monuments are lit up. Highly recommend.
Excellent way to efficiently see all the tidal basin memorials
Aaron_J, Mar 2023
This Indiana couple hasn’t been on a bike in 20 years, but we rented the e-bikes (highly recommend) and had the best time. We visited all the memorials around the tidal basin plus the Washington Monument and the White House. Stephen was an excellent guide. He kept us safe and gave us ample time at each memorial to visit, read, take pictures and get the passport cancellation stamps. Highly recommend this activity with Unlimited Biking. We had the best time.

Loved this tour! It was fun and a great to see all the monuments in a short amount of time. Guide informative and helpful. Would do it again.
Waste of time and money
Annela_K, Mar 2023
The guide was stopping suddenly and turning in from of other bikes, not safe! His tour was mostly: "This is ... monument, you have 10 minutes". Would recommend just renting bikes from the many bikeshare places in town for convenience and safety.
Joe was the best guide!...
Jennifer_S, Mar 2023
Joe was the best guide! This is a great tour for the entire family. Wonderful way to see monuments. Our 8 year did great.
Trip highlight!
MD_C, Nov 2022
David was an awesome guide! He was an endless source of information for us as we explored all the highlights. We got to see Jefferson as the sun was setting! The monuments were beautifully lit up at night. A very fun way to explore the city. DC gets cold so pack as though you are going skiing!😂
