I enjoyed the full day tour of Washington DC. John, the tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the stops we made. The tour was fun and educational. I was not aware there was an African American Smithsonian until we were leaving the area. I wish John had mention it when we arrived and I would have visited. This was an awesome tour. I would recommend this tour to every one I meet.

We loved the tour that we took with Matt. We were able to see so many of the historical sites. One of the most special parts of the day was seeing the ceremony for the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Matt made sure we had the opportunity to see it up close. We even had free time to grab lunch and go into the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. We love history. My husband is retired from the military and Matt even fulfilled a request for one of the stops that I knew my husband wanted to see. Matt was very informative, kind, and always had a sense of humor. Overall, the day was packed with adventure and even some surprises. I recommend this tour for people of all ages. It was also economical and well worth the price. -Paula

Excellent tour, so happy to coordinate this for our family. Matt was am excellent tour guide, provided plenty of time, information on the highlights of Washington DC. My family was visiting from Spain so it was very special for them to understand a good overview of our Nation's capital. Excellent tour that I would recommend for anyone that wants to visit our capital. Matt was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and shared details that I never knew or probably would not have noticed if he didn’t point them out. He seemed to know exactly where we needed to be as well as the right time to be there to get the best views. He also had a great sense of humor that kept most everyone entertained. Great tour with plenty of walking up and down hills

We really enjoyed the tour. Being picked up and driven around to home again was perfect. Our driver, Matt, had great knowledge to share. Was considerate of everyone on the bus and caring. It was a long day!! Wear comfortable shoes and dress and be prepared for any weather changes. You can bring a small bag with jackets, waters or water and leave on the bus until you need it. For those with mobility issues or some issues walking up and down hills, you may want to pass. Several "elders" were not able to keep up with the walking tour. I loved the changing of the guard ceremony. That was by far the best.

For your first time in Wash DC, there are many obvious sites you'd want to see - the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, the Capitol, the White House, etc. We saw all these and many more. Arlington Cemetery with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers and the changing of the Guard was very impressive but we also saw JFK's grave with the Eternal Flame and the graves of Joe Louis and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. The Iwo Jima Memorial was also a bonus. Matt is the driver and tour guide and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of each site. Very worthwhile tour.

We got to see everything promised and so much more.
