What To Expect

Start your day trip from the bus terminal in central Zurich and depart by coach for the scenic journey south. Travel among the towering peaks of Switzerland's Bernese Oberland to Lauterbrunnen, where a cogwheel train carries you up to Europe’s highest-altitude train station, situated in a UNESCO-listed Alpine wilderness.

The 100-minute train ride winds through the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass in the Bernese Oberland. Upon arrival at Jungfraujoch, situated at an elevation of 11,333 feet, disembark at the Top of Europe and head to the Alpine Sensation—a round-tour subway opened to mark the centenary of the Jungfrau Railway.

Head to the Ice Palace for a glacier walk and stop at the Sphinx Observatory for sweeping views of Europe's longest glacier: Aletsch Glacier. From viewing platforms, enjoy a 360-degree panorama of this winter wonderland draped in a breathtaking display of ice and snow. On a clear day, look beyond to the mountain peaks of neighboring Italy and France.

If you wish, purchase a snack or warm drink at the on-site restaurant (own expense) before the cogwheel train ride to ‘Eigergletscher’, where you will change to the V-Cableway Eiger Express. After approx. 15 minutes you will reach Grindelwald Terminal, where your coach awaits. Relax on the drive back to Zurich, arriving at the bus terminal in the evening.

One of the most memorable days of my life. Kid is the best tour guide that showed us all the good spots, kept the group going at a good pace, and made the day so much fun. Highly recommend if you want to see all of the iconic things Switzerland has to offer.

Great experience! Check-in early at the little wooden booth to get your sticker and a good seat. The bus leaves on time and not a minute later, make sure you're on time! Our tour guide, Kid, was really great. He guided us throughout the tour and his great personality and sense of humor made the day even more fun than expected. The Swiss Alps are a must see, and this guided tour is a great way to see them. Go for the full package, it's definitely worth the price. Enjoy!

Kid made the trip!!! At first he seems a little sassy, but that actually made it more fun and enjoyable. The views are incredible going to Jungfraujoch but once we were at the top, the clouds and fog had their own idea. We couldn’t see a thing! Having said that, the ice caves were pretty cool and the trip overall is something I would definitely recommend! It was a once in a lifetime trip. 5 stars

The tour was very well done. The problem was we didn't see anything. So the 4 star isn't really for the tour company. The weather was terrible, freezing and snowing so they let us change the day to the next day so we could buy winter coats but they did charge us to do that. It is an expensive tour - but the guide was great and the tour was HIGHLY organized - which I appreciated since we were traveling with two kids. I would do it again making sure weather cooperated this time. Also it would have been cool to have a bit more time in some of the spots on the way up. The time crunch meant we could barely stop to take pictures.

The your guide was definitely the star of show,knew best photo spots ,able navigate us thru the crowds,provide detailed information ,help us with anything special needs(some elderly folks needed assistance). Special reason to book this tour(by this tour operator )is because you get access whole cabin in the train up to summit and you can open windows and take pictures. Over all good time distribution ,as I was able to experience everything in jungfraujoch observatory and have enough time for a meal .

This tour is highly recommended especially if you book this tour with Kid! Kid made this tour a lot more fun for our group and he worked so hard so his guests will have the best time and still adhere to the tour schedule. He would always go out of his way to take very nice pictures for his guests and their families to capture the beautiful views and sceneries of Jungfraujoch.
