Worth the money!

We especially liked the addition of the food tasting to the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this tour as it includes such a great variety of locations. The guide was very knowledgeable and did not rush us through the different events.

We had such a wonderful experience on our tour. We were on our honeymoon and the only two people on the tour that day. It was a very intimate and informative day. We loved getting to hear all about the local history and new development around Aberdeenshire. We would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. And the homemade snack were a delicious bonus!

Taste of Scotland tour

Excellent tour of the castles and the Glen Garioch distillery. It was good to see a restored castle and one that more in ruins. The one in ruins left a lot for the imagination. Jacqueline also provided snakes along the way for a taste of the local fair.

This tour was an absolute delight. I was a bit spoiled as I was the only person on the tour! My guide was Jacqueline (I hope I'm spelling that right) and she was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly! We hit all the sites as listed except by choice we skipped Formartine's and went to Barra Castle Farm Shop instead for fresh berries. We had a small picnic outside Tolquhon Castle. In addition to berries, Jacqueline provided lots of local nibbles: oat crackers, local cheeses, sausage roll, scotch egg, and local assortment of drinks! I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to get a true taste of Scotland! Castles, a distillery, and local nibbles - nothing not to like. Thanks for a very special experience!
