Hotel pickup is available from most centrally located Acapulco downtown, historic center, and port area hotels. Pick-up time starts at 10:45 AM, please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.
What To Expect
Start the day with morning pickup at your hotel in Acapulco, then board a skiff for the trip across Acapulco Bay to La Roqueta Island, a favorite getaway from the mainland coast.
Upon arrival at La Roqueta Island, you’ll have time to enjoy Playa Roqueta on your own schedule. Take advantage of the snorkeling equipment that’s provided on this tour, and swim through the clear water along the shoreline, stake out a piece of sand, or go for a walk through the palm trees that line the beach.
If you’re feeling more adventurous, bring some sneakers for a hike through La Roqueta Island’s jungle trails, climbing to a scenic overlook with views of Acapulco beaches and the working lighthouse that’s perched on the island’s highest point. When you’re ready for a break, snacks will be served on the beach.
After your time on the island comes to an end, meet the boat for the return trip to Acapulco, where a driver will shuttle you back to your hotel.

Never Showed Up

We went with this trip because they offered pickup service. I sent detailed instructions including a dropped pin to our VRBO allocation. We confirmed several times that our location would be fine for pickup. The local company sent an email rescheduling the trip 5 minutes before they were supposed to pick us up and failed to show up the second time. It may be beautiful, we just never got the chance to find out.

Was a great snorkeling trip, fun host, good music, freedom to explore. The website stated they would have drinks and snacks but they did not. They let us grab snacks and drinks across the street to bring on board. Unexpected but still worked out well. The shuttle picked us up at Pierre mundo and was very professional and clean. Would recommend. La Roqueta was very pretty!

This was a disaster. The local company executing the trip was ill prepared, the environment was unprofessional, services were not provided as posted, the boat used was a safety hazard.
