Interesting Sites!
douglindahay, Sep 2019
Van was waiting for us by the cruise ship - easy to access. Good well paced trip with excellent guide. Our weather was rainy and windy. The last seats in the van are elevated so it was hard to see out the side windows, and we were the last ones to the van so those were our seats. Others seemed to come well before the stated meeting time. Varied sites and all were interesting. Would do it again, but would show up earlier!
Fabulous

Easily found guide at cruise port. Took small van to see many varied sights. Waterfalls and lava fields and boiling mud pots. Made several other photo stops.
Great Day

Best Way to Experience Raw Beauty of Iceland

Given our short time in Akureyri (around eight hours) on a cruise ship, this tour was perfect for the time we had and for our budget (ship based similar shore excursions were almost double the cost). The sights were all incredible and all 'must-see'. The driver/guide was also excellent and made sure that everyone got the most out of their day... I will also say that the mini-bus was excellent and had incredible wifi access.

We had a great guide with Dori - knowledgeable, interesting, and personable! He knew what he was doing & helped us learn and see so much! I'd choose him again anytime. We loved Akureyri every bit as much as Reykjavik, which I didn't expect. There's no way we could have done 1/2 of this on our own, and it was MUCH better than what the ship had to offer.
Interesting tour of the major northern sites

Great highlights of the area. Paul, our driver had lots of good information to share with us. Lake Myvatn is just beautiful. The lava columns are interesting and the steam vents and mud pots are eerie, smelly and amazing! Finishing up our tour with a stop at the Godafoss Waterfall was truly amazing. It is an easy walk from the parking lot and accessible for everyone. The van itself was a little tight. Seats don't recline, they are narrow and if you sit on the elevated level, it is hard to see out the windows.
Great Tour! Don't miss!

Our guide was excellent and the variety on the trip was also wonderful. This was one of our highlights of our 5 days in Iceland. The scenery was awesome and the pace of the trip was also good.

We are so glad we took this tour. We were on a cruise ship. The group was small and the guide was great. Much better than the large bus the ship tours used. Will book with this company again.
Great tour
