Because we only use fresh, seasonal ingredients from our vegetable gardens and local suppliers and farms, the cooking class menu will vary according to the season and the availability of the products on the day of the class.
Due to the presence of a few stairs and uneven and steep surfaces, this activity is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or wheelchair users.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

People running this have a true passion for what they do. They are so attentive and allow you to learn so much. I love trying the different things in the garden. The flavors in Italy are so much more fresh and flavorful. Thank you for a wonderful time and treating us like family. I was completely taken by surprise by how interesting and how much fun this afternoon spent at Heaven Amalfi Gardens would prove to be! Our wonderful host, Silvio, immediately set us (a group of almost complete strangers) at ease, and set the tone for the day! His ability to weave a story that included us, his guests, and to engage us in the details, the touch and smells of growing fruits and vegetables on the Amalfi Coast, was irrisistable. As he moved us through the gardens and towards our magnificent outdoor cooking stations, our connections with each other began to grow along with the vegetables we brought up from the gardens. As he introduced us to our Chef, Jean Luca and his sous chef, Angela - we began to get into the rhythms our various cooking duties - and Jean Luca coached us patiently as we all began working both individually and together to build our much anticipated "family meal." Every moment was fascinating and a delight - the table beautifully set overlooking the magnificence of the Amalfi coastline. (We even changed sides between courses, so everyone had a chance to eat with a view!!) We bagan as strangers, but just as Silvio promised, we all left with a sense of parting from dear family/friends. I cannot express enough how deeply this afternoon imprinted upon me, how much I loved it and how it will begin to steer future plans of my own. Amalfi is permanently engraved in my heart, and my afternoon at Amalfi Heaven Gardens is a big part of it. A piece of Heaven, indeed.

Sometimes in life you stumble upon something and you know deep in your soul- THIS IS DIFFERENT- THIS IS SPECIAL! My husband and I spent 2 weeks traveling Barcelona, cruising the Mediterranean and then settling into the Amalfi Coast… And in honesty, it wasn’t until THIS experience 2 days before we headed home that I let go of the hustle and bustle of busyness and found my breath and peace. The host has a heart that bleeds “familia” and genuine, authentic connection of friendship and the Italiano way of life. While you start to wipe down your counter after chopping your vegetables, you will be handed a glass on wine and they will remind you to relax. You’re on holiday. When you ask, “what’s next?”- you’ll be asked with a twinkle- did you taste who you chopped? And you’ll pop a new flavor in your mouth. When you think- I can’t make my own gnocchi- they’ll show you how and you’ll giggle inside that you can do it. You’ll laugh and laugh and laugh with new friends as you eat family style and have deep conversation about life- if only you’ll allow yourself to go there. Everything sits upon a hillside- a gorgeous view with one table to cook together and one table to eat together. Do not spend your time in all the tourist traps. Spend time in a place where you will experience life the Italiano way.

This was the highlight of our stay at Amalfi. Silvio and Lucas were wonderful hosts who truly care about sharing and keeping Amalfi tradition alive. We learned about the soil, veggies, and wine of the region while having the chance to taste, touch, and fully experience what makes Amalfi the gem of the Mediterranean. From the pasta to the Limoncello , everything was superb. I would definetly recommend Amalfi Heaven Gardens to anyone visiting the area.

What an absolutely unforgettable experience! Sergio and his team were fantastic. We walked through the gardens picking our vegetables and talking about their seasonality. We then made our way to the outdoor kitchen overlooking a majestic view of the Amalfi Coast, and began our tasks. All I have to say is that I’m so glad we did this experience. And thank you Sergio for answering all of my mother’s gardening questions! Truly made us all feel like family.

This class was so much more than I could have imagined! Silvio was our host, along with Rosa as our chef, and Angela as our helper. Silvio gave us a tour of the beautiful garden that he and his best friend started just a few months ago. He explained life on the farm and life in Amalfi. He gave us a tour and told us to pick and eat whatever we wanted from the garden along the way. To begin, the group of us picked fresh vegetables to use in our dishes. During the time we got there until the very end, there was an abundance of wine, laughter and charm between the guests, Silvio, Rosa and Angela. We all worked together as a group to learn about the foods, pick them, prepare, cook and eat together like a typical Italian family. Our menu consisted of the most delicious and savory ingredients. We had bruschetta, salad, stuffed zucchini flowers, mozzarella, flash fried zucchini, gnocchi with tomatoes and eggplant. We made all of this by hand!! Of course with help from the talented Rosa! We also ate the sweetest figs from the tree in the garden and the most delicious tomatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’m sure I’m leaving something out because there was sooo much food and everything was tasty and made with love. We ended the meal with Italian coffee, lemonchello and a certificate. This tour/experience is a MUST when you’re in Amalfi!! It was so much more than a cooking class. As Silvio said, it’s so hard to explain this experience over the internet because it’s not just a cooking class, and he was absolutely right. We wish you and your crew success! You guys are the best!!

I had such a great time! Silvio, the host, has such a great story (I don't want to ruin it for you, you'll have to hear it from him!). It's an amazing time on a small farm in Amalfi, overlooking cliffs and the ocean, enjoying good company, fresh food, and good wine. It gets you away from the tourist trap so you can enjoy some downtime seeing how the locals actually live. There's a magic in meeting strangers and sharing stories over a delicious meal. Good times!

I considered a few other cooking classes, but I chose this one because this one seemed to be the most authentic of the few I selected. It turned out to be beyond what I expected. This class was hands down the best of my trip to the Amalfi Coast. Learning about the different vegetables and sourcing them within the farm, the location, and the people made this a top tier experience. It’s very clear that Silvio loves what he does and it shows in the way that he presents himself and interacts with everyone from start to finish. You can feel the love and passion he has and quite honestly it was the best part of the experience - seeing how happy this made him and how eager he was to share this place and his stories with us. Please do not miss out on booking this class - it is well worth the money.

Truly a hidden gem in the Amalfi coast. Being someone who does not cook the brightest meals, this class made me confident to slice and dice anything and make it taste as good as it looks. Capri was iconic, Positano was beautiful, but this was the highlight of our trip. Silvio has a real heart for people and a a passion to give guests an authentic Italian experience. We spent the morning visiting his garden, sipping wine, and building relationships with families from around the world. We cooked together and enjoyed the relaxed pace of the day. The meal Rosa helped us prepare was the best meal we had in Amalfi, hands down. I was tempted to return the next day just to enjoy the food again! Book this authentic Italian experience and get lost in the real magic of Italy; family, food, and wine.
