One of the country’s favorite rafting rivers, experiencing Asheville’s French Broad River is a paddler’s rite of passage. On this guided tour, you’ll raft through four miles of Class II and III rapids, stopping for river dips, taking in the views of the surrounding Pisgah National Forest.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Mattie was an amazing guide. Even with the river being low we had a great experience. Was hoping for professional pictures and video to have been taken for purchase but they didn’t have that available.

French Broad Rafting awesomeness

Today, my husband and I went on the French Broad Whitewater Rafting trip and were mesmerized by the beauty of the River. Our guide was Gabe, he shared history of the gorge along the way as he instructed us on when to paddle and when to change our body movements to the rapids and different classes. I’d like to say we stayed dry but thankfully the River water was not nearly as cold as I thought it would be (especially coming from Florida) instead it was refreshing. The only down fall to our day’s adventure was the 40 minute drive to and from the rafting destination via school bus. All in all; we would do it again!!!
