You walk on the beaches which is great but keep footwear in mind.
I think you really need about a week to see it all; However if you have only 1 day to see as much as you can, then this is the Tour to take.

Why did we have to rush for two passengers?

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. My family and I learned a lot of new information. The problem was that the tour guide rushed the tour group through all the sites. At the beginning of the tour, he asked if anyone had a ticket to be on a train. A husband and wife had booked their train tickets back-to-back with the tour, poor planning on their part. the driver was worried that they would miss their train. Everyone on the tour bus had to rush through all the sites, and none of us could understand why we were catering to this couple at the expense of the group. The tour guide kept saying that "we don't have enough time." It was very disappointing to have spent the time and money to get to this dream destination only to be rushed because of these two people. I will be contacting Bayeux Shuttle to let them know about this. If we didn't have to rush, the tour would have been excellent. I did ask the couple if they could buy a train ticket for a later time, but they refused.
Excellent experience. Chloe was a fantastic guide.

The depth is of Omaha beach, the cemetery with all the crosses looking towards the USARangers, medics in church, museum

Charlie did a great job explaining the beaches and making them come to life before our eyes. There wasn't much on Omaha and Utah beaches and without his explanations and stories, they wouldn't have been as interesting to look at. Perfect amount of time at everything, but we didn't get to see Longes-Sur-Mer gut battery which I had wanted to visit and was stated on the original tour I booked. Maybe the tour changed after I booked it.

This was an incredible tour. We had the BEST guide and shuttle driver (I think his name was Pascal?) who shared great insight and war stories throughout the day as we hit up all the major D-day sites. We learned a ton, and it was really nice to sit back and be shuttled around all day. We had driven from Rouen that morning for the tour and learned from our guide that it’s best to park vehicles at the train station because there’s plenty of free parking there and most city parking is a little more complicated to pay for, so you run the risk of getting a hefty parking ticket. Overall I loved this tour so much and hope to return someday!

Our British guide was passionate about the topic and his flow of information was paced well. Highly reccomend this tour. Transport was air-conditioned and loved the lunch at St Meriglez markets.

Omaha beach The American cemetery or highlights of our trip there were so many other spots that we stopped it’s hard to remember all of them however we had a great guide Pascl and would definitely recommend this trip to anyone

It was a jammed packed day and we had a wonderful tour guide Pascal who was passionate about the tour and shared many details with so many stops. I think the most memorable was the air museum, unfortunately there was not enough time there given the amount of stops we covered understandably.

We had a great tour of the D-Day beaches and surrounding areas! It was a full day and very enjoyable….we were lucky to have Jordan as our tour guide who shared his expertise and related stories. We got to walk on the beaches and go through an actual bunker. Highly recommend this tour!
