Very moving tour with knowledgeable guide
James_K, Jan 2023
This tour was phenomenal! Our guide, Gwen, is the most knowledgeable guy on the planet when it comes to D Day. He had so many stories to tell and facts and information about every single stop. To see these places in real life, that we had only heard about from movies or history class, really brought home the reality of what happened that day. Visiting the American cemetery was very moving. We arrived late in the afternoon right as they were lowering the flag and playing taps. It was very moving . One note for other families: we did the 8 hour tour. My husband and son were very much interested in all things World War II, but even by the end, they were exhausted. (We were 5 jet-lagged days in on a 10 day trip.) When they say 8 hours, they mean a full 8 hours. Plus, we stopped off for lunch which took about an hour. So we left our hotel at 9:00am and returned at 6:00pm. We still enjoyed the entire experience, but if we were to do it again, we might book just the 4 hour tour. Then again, it was so moving, I'm not sure we'd change a thing.

I can't emphasize how amazing our guide was, Francois Gauthron. Our family would have driven right past the history of the region not even knowing or understanding the real life history in front of our eyes! Thank you for a wonderful day
Great DDay experience!
Wayne_H, Jul 2022
Francois was extremely knowledgeable and full of information. Really educated us on all the D day information that we unaware of. Excellent guide and tour overall!
Dday of a lifetime
Donald_D, Jun 2022
We offered our 13 yo grandson a trip to Europe to study wwii history for his birthday. Our tour guide Julie provided a great tour for him with understandable answers to his questions and ours. She made it to all the sites we wanted to see on a very busy dday holiday with large crowds and lots of traffic. Julie picked an excellent place for lunch and gave us many options for when and where to eat during our travels. Her knowledge of the history and the area was superb. Would highly recommend this trip and tour guide to others. She was French and we were Americans but her English was great.
Perfect way to see Normandy!

Wonderful day. Since Normandy is so spread out with so many various locations and sights - a guided tour is really the way to go. Our guide Celine was so knowledgeable and kind. We visited all the things we wanted to and loved the town of Bayeux.

Bucket list trip!
Troy_P, Apr 2022
What an amazing experience! This trip to Normandy was a “bucket list” trip for me and my brother. Adrien was the best guide. He was so knowledgeable, and really made the trip come to life. I cannot stop talking about it. If you go to Normandy, get a guide! He not only was familiar with all that we saw, but also tips for the area, and what we could do later on our trip. My knowledge and appreciation for the men and women who sacrificed so much will not be forgotten.

Had an amazing day learning about D-Day and seeing the battlefields and cemeteries in person. Our group had a wide range of knowledge and everyone ended the day with learning something new. We are still talking about the unique stories we heard. I have already recommended this tour to friends and family.
The Best Day
Walter_S, Sep 2019
Had very knowledgeable young French woman take us from hotel to Utah and Omaha beaches, then to flag lowering ceremony at Omaha cemetery. I was looking for where my Father had landed in August 1944 so she then she then took us to the British temporary harbor at Arromanches-les-Bains while asking other guides questions to help figure out the puzzle. Did work at home that night and emailed me with what she had found. Went above and beyond. Great Day.
Great day at Normandy.

Romain is an amazing tour guide. We learned so much and saw the high points during the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour and guide. Thank you!
What a great day

This was a bucket list trip for me. The six of us (me, wife, 4 kids aged 24-12) took an early train from Paris and were picked up at the train station by Adrian. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went to the German cemetery, toured Pointe du Hoc, had lunch at a great spot, went to Omaha Beach, the American cemetery and then went to view Omaha beach from a spot that you would not be able to find on your own. The whole day was great - Thank you Adrian!

Philip our guide was wonderful! He knew so many details that we have ever learned previously. He also recommended a place for lunch that was great. We are happy he could join us. Can't imagine a better guide here and with such a great personality.
Great Guide and Excellent Tour

Full day tour of Normandy D-Day beaches
mkkmann, May 2019
Olivier showed us a great overview of the beaches, historical sites and cemeteries. His historical commentary added a lot of depth to what we saw. We traveled from the German cemetery to St Mere Eglise to Utah beach to Pont du Hoc to Angoville-au-Plain, to Omaha Beach to the American Cemetery, and even to the town he grew up in which was in the film "The Longest Day". A memorable day for my dad, our wives, and my teenage boys. We all need a reminder of the cost of freedom.
