Paris to Normandy

We enjoyed the comfortable drive to get to Normandy. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Normandy, the war plan and the participants. Going to the American cemetery and Pointe Du Hoc and Omaha Beach was a moving experience. The trip was well worth the time and expense and would highly recommend it to others.

An absolutely wonderful day that we will treasure for years to come. Thomas, our tour guide was exceptional! His knowledge of history brought our experience to life. Thomas explained the facts so well that it gave us chills when we thought about what our troops endured that day so many years ago. Thomas arrived on time to pick us up, explained the timeline for the day, allowed time for rest stops, recommend a place for lunch, and helped with language barrier when interacting with the locals. The long ride to Normandy was enjoyable and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We fully recommend this tour, and request Thomas for your guide!!!

Moving to witness the rich history of Normandy

We had a great visit to the beaches in the Normandy region, the US cemetery and the Canadian cemetery. All extremely beautiful and moving to witness. It was January so the weather was not in our favor, rainy and cool, but spectacular just the same. It is important to note that the museums are closed at this time of year. Viator site doesn't mention local closures so research. Our tour guide, Frank, was wonderfully knowledgeable of the area, informative and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Arromanches that Frank suggested too. Recommend!

Incredible Normandy Tour

Our trip to Normandy was the highlight of our vacation. Julian was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge. He was also just a fun and interesting person to talk to. By the end of the trip, I felt like I had made a new friend. From the bunkers at Point du Hoc to the cemetery at Colleville to the untouched beauty of Bayeux, there was never a dull moment.
