Kohala Zipline Station located in Kapaau in North Kohala. Driving directions from Kona/Kohala Resorts: • Take Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) north to Highway 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy). • Turn left on to Highway 270 and continue approximately 21 miles to the intersection of Highway 270 and Hawi Road. • Turn right on to Hawi Road. Kohala Zipline is the historic yellow building on the left behind the gas station.

Loved the guides who helped us get ready and taught us how to glide through the canopies (Brendan and Braxton, if I remember correctly). They were funny, friendly and careful. I was scared at first but ended up having a phenomenal time because the guides made me feel safe and made the process easy to understand. The views were breathtaking and flying in between huge trees was unforgettable. Fun ride up and down in an army truck, great photos and interesting educational information provided by the guides. Awesome experience with my teenage son, highly recommend!

Top Notch Staff and Great Experience

I have been zip lining a few times prior too (Kauai and Maui) and each had their advantages- whether distance, height and number of zip lines. Big Island Kohala had a good mix of each feature but what stood out was the team of Davin and Tami as our guides. Both were very professional and experienced in assuring our safety and fun! The entire group was beyond satisfied and we have Kohala and their awesome team for making this excursion one to remember.

Curtis and Elijah were great in their professionalism and demeanor. Very engaging and ensuring that all we’re enjoying themselves. Appreciated the additional historical references to the area, town and people shared along the way. Definitely would recommending them and their outfit. Particularly enjoyed the 1200 ft zip line at the end were you partner up to race to the end.

Davyn and Eli were great tour guides. They had so much information about ancient Hawaii and the trees and plants that grow here. They made us laugh and feel comfortable about each Zipline that we did. We had a wonderful experience! Would recommend to everyone!

This excursion was amazing. Curtis and Cassie we’re super friendly, Informative, positive Attitude with an understanding that we have never done this. They kept each obstacle exciting and always cracking jokes to keep our spirits lifted. They truly made the trip worth it. The Ziplines and Bridges were exhilarating and even Thrilling at times. Definitely a 5 🌟 Adventure.
