Set sail along the Kona coastline toward the Captain Cook Monument, where your adventure begins.     Check in location for Hokulani is at 8:15am at Keauhou Bay located at the end of Kaleiopapa Street continuing past the boat ramps. You may park on Kaleiopapa Street. Hoku Nui is a 50 ft Catamaran with a blue sail bag. The boat departs Keauhou Bay at 1pm. Contact 808-322-2500.

Capt. Alex and crew were awesome. We had a medical emergency on the boat right after leaving the dock. The crew handled it with such professionalism, I was seriously impressed. We were traveling with special needs daughter. The crew interacted with her the whole trip, she had a great time. I would definitely recommend this excurion.

BRAND NEW CATAMARAN with a SMALL GROUP of guests!

The whole fam loved this tour! Firstly, the boat is BRAND NEW and it is NOT CROWDED at all. It’s absolutely gorgeous!! I enjoyed the fact that each of the crew members PERSONALIZED the TOUR with their unscripted stories of Hawaii, deep knowledge of the Hawaiian history, melodious chanting, and safe navigation of the rugged coastline. A variety of SALTY AND SWEET SNACKS paired perfectly with a DELI-STYLE LUNCH (including pickles and my favorite jalapeño chips) to accommodate even the most pickiest of eaters. A SNORKELING MASK, and FLIPPERS were provided and FREE SUNSCREEN was available to all. SeaParadise knows who to spoil their guests!!

We really enjoyed this excursion. The crew was awesome, the catamaran was clean, and the food & drinks were tasty. The gear was sterilized and in great condition. If you’re not a strong swimmer they’ll give you a noodle to float on which makes it very relaxing. The crew turn into lifeguards at each site (they’re in the water) so safety is a high priority for them. The snorkeling was unbelievable….so many fish in the clear refreshing Hawaiian waters!! This is a must-do on the Big Island!!!

Amazing Snorkeling & Wonderful Hospitality

Everything about this trip was well-planned and executed by the kind and hospitable crew. The boat was not overfilled, so we could move around freely to get different views, and didn't have to compete for spots, even on the coveted trampolines in the front. We had breakfast (fruit and pastries) on the way out to the first snorkeling spot, which was just spectacular. The waters were very calm and clear, and the fish & coral were so vibrant. We had plenty of time to explore and were in no way rushed. We then sailed to the Captain Cook Monument. Along the way, a crew member gave us the history of both the native Hawaiians and of Captain Cook. Snorkeling at the Captain Cook monument was even better than the first spot! While snorkeling, you can lose track of where you are, so crew members were out on the water, helping us stay in the correct area. Sailing back, the captain cut the motor, and we traveled a while on wind power only, which was so peaceful. Lunch (sandwiches, salad, chips) was very nice. The crew was always so kind and accommodating. As we neared the harbor, I was thinking the only thing that was missing was cookies, and then, a crew member set out a basket of chocolate chip cookies! We've snorkeled all over the world, and this trip was definitely my favorite! We were so grateful to the crew who just did an all-around fantastic job.

The history provided about captain cook was most informative and entertaining. Snorkeling captain cook bay was magical. Snorkeling iguana we had super rough waters and not a lot to see compared to other sites we’ve been to. Staff really catered to beginners in our group. Everyone very warm and friendly.

One of the BEST sailing days on the beautiful catamaran that my family has taken, and we do a lot of these trips! The crew above and beyond with their hospitality, we sailed with our three young granddaughters, one infant to toddler! 💗 Thank you to the captain and the crew for making our day so enjoyable and fun! Beautiful boat, great crew! The snorkeling did not disappoint…saw a ton of beautiful fish and dolphins at the monument. Lunch was kinda meh but not taking a star off since everything else was so great!!

A great snorkel trip

We had a lovely morning snorkel trip with sea paradise. The staff was super capable and friendly. I was a big chicken, but Patty helped me have a really great experience. I’ll never forget it, unless I get dementia! Lol. Food was handled well and hit the spot after being in the water. If I make it back this way, I’ll do it again.

It was difficult to figure out where to check in since no one was standing on shore to greet people, but once we got on the boat it was great. We got pretty motion sick at our first stop, so definitely pack something for that! Otherwise the food was surprisingly good and the crew was amazing.

Saw a Whale Shark!!

We stopped to watch a whale shark and people were allowed to snorkel around it if they wanted to. It was so wonderful that they took the extra time to do this for us. It was a beautiful day and a great experience!

We booked this excursion with the recommendation of our family who had done it. The expectations were high, and the team delivered! Two snorkeling stops, plus great service, friendly attitudes and excellent history of the reefs. We had a wonderful time and would do it again.
