Your instructor will meet you and your group in Kahaluu Bay, where you’ll learn about everything from safety to etiquette. And before the lesson is over, you’ll get the chance to take to the waves yourself.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Mar was great!

We had some smaller waves but we were still able to get up on the water. Mar was our instructor and she was very good at helping us relax and made the entire experience enjoyable and worry free. If you’re a first timer like myself, this was a great lesson!

While I was excited to have surf lessons, the conditions were not in my favor that morning. I appreciated that Ben from the shop called to tell me the surf would be too flat to try surfing. He offered a few different options including a full refund. Instead I took him up on the offer to get a stand up paddle board lesson and time out in the bay. I'm glad I did! It was a beautiful, relaxing morning and by the end of the time I felt confident standing on the paddle board. The instructor, Loni, was wonderful and very personable sharing her own experiences and tidbits about the island. We saw a turtle and spinner dolphins and I was able to snorkel for a bit. Highly recommend this shop and Loni!

The surfing experience was amazing. I didn’t get up on the surf board except for a couple of times. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. I was there by myself but a family was also there and great instruction and care was given to the kids too. The staff was incredibly encouraging. Surf time was about an hour or a little over. Plenty of time to get it and keep trying like me. I know what to do next time!

We decided to book some surfing lessons last minute. The adults were definitely apprehensive but the kids were so excited! All the adults are late 40's and early 50's, totally not in shape and ZERO experience. Let me tell you....we had a BLAST!!! It was five stars and all 7 of us wanted to go again! We actually can't wait to go back! If I could give 10 stars I would! Special thanks to Mar, Eli, Max & Aldra.

Great instructors - they used multiple people to ensure everyone in our group had their best chance to ride a wave. Did a great job breaking down the key points to standing on the board and left a lot of time for actual surfer. Everyone had a blast!

So much fun! I went with the kids- 11 ,13,14 - and caught my first wave! We had absolutely no experience and were all successful before we left. All of the kids wanted to go again, but there wasn't a spot left during our trip. Book ahead, you don't want to miss this! Our instructors rocked, especially Max.
