Spectacular sunset

Had a party of 6 family members. We all enjoyed sailing on the catamaran boat. So relaxing. Enjoyed the snack and beverage service..the crew was attentive. The sunset was spectacular.

Wasn't worth the money. Drinks were great. No narrative as to location, points of interest. As soon as the Sun set, the Captain returned the catamaran to dock. Didn't even wait for the pink skies. Apparently the local Seafood and Bar were calling

We're happy to read that you enjoyed the unlimited beverages, but of course, we apologize that you were disappointed with the rest of the cruise. In the past, we've offered a complete historical tour and narration on our Sunset Cruises, but the overwhelming feedback we received from guests was that they preferred to just listen to the music and watch the views without "so much talking", so we decided to eliminate narration from our cruises. Also, being so close to the equator, we don't have much time at "dusk", and since the dock and parking lot at the harbor aren't lit, we need to return quickly after sunset to ensure safe de-boarding for our guests. Again, we apologize for your disappointment, and we appreciate your feedback. Mahalo

It was a little bit disappointing because we thought of the marketing picture that it’s a sailing trip but it was just a catamaran no sail. However it was a good time and service was good! Recommend for a romantic or pleasant evening sunset experience. The biggest drawback was getting to the docking meeting point. You go to the location first then you must follow the truck to the loading location at a pier not accessible by the public. Bit confusing.

Aloha, Thanks for providing feedback about your Sunset Cruise. We operate 2 catamarans -- a 58' sailing catamaran and a 65' power catamaran (both pictured on the website). We're completing a drydock/wetdock on our sailing catamaran, which is why we've put a note in the description on the Viator site explaining that all cruises are scheduled on our power catamaran until the end of September. Viator lists our activities on multiple websites, and unfortunately, we don't have control of how the activities are described on these partner sites -- we apologize for your disappointment. We're also sorry if you were confused with our boarding process. Our power catamaran boards from the dock at the secured harbor, so this was the best "work-around" we could devise! We're very happy to read that despite those issues, you were able to enjoy the cruise. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would have liked them to point out things of interest on the shore as we went by, interest stories of the area, etc. A two hour sail along the shoreline without commentary was a bit boring. Sunset was beautiful.

Pleasant cruise along the shoreline. Very nice and helpful crew. They offer drinks and snacks. Just before sunset, the captain stopped the boat and we watched the horizon until the sun was down.

This was a wonderful, relaxing cruise. The staff was very attentive, and the catamaran was not crowded. They sailed up the north Kohala coast and the scenery was beautiful. When time came for sunset, they did an excellent job of providing the best view. The crew came around and served drinks and there was good variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Due to Covid, the snacks offered were bags of nuts and chips and granola bars. The only thing I would recommend is that they serve the snacks as well so guests did not have to walk around to get them. (I had an injury and could not easily move around). The boat offered seats, nets and even little corner benches if you wanted to sit at the very front. I would highly recommend this cruise and have made a note for our next visit.
