We went on his on July 14 2023 with Eugene as our tour guide. Eugene was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. It was a long day, but we got to see and learn so much more than if we’d do this trip on our own. We stopped at an amazing lava tube on the way to volcano and had a chance to walk through it. We hiked through the lava fields and the forest. We even spotted a wild boar on our forest trek! We had lunch and dinner provided, which was very nice. Eugene even had hot chocolate for us at the end of our tour! This was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it!

Our tour guide was really great. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun for the kids. The food was good too. Little touches like snacks and walking sticks and blankets made it a personalized experience.

Wonderful trip. Rob was knowledgeable and helpful. All details were well organized. Dinner could have have been a little more robust. The stew was delicious, but 2 teen boys just needed more food. We'd definitely take this trip again.

We had an incredible time! The tour was switched to an evening tour after the eruption and it was well worth the change from just day time. We learned so much about the land, history, animals, and plants! I’d highly recommend this tour as a great way to see the national park with bonus stops (the lava tube)!

A great full day tour! Eugene was incredibly knowledgeable and very hospitable. He made sure time never stood still even though there is a lot of driving (if you're staying on the west side of the island) he deserves 5 stars! Direct hotel pickup and drop off should be considered in the future as it is a late arrival tour. Lunch option at a fresh food truck/restaurant would have been ideal to get a small taste of the island while on the tour as it is nearly 12 hours long start to end.

This tour was one of the best! Our guide Taj was super helpful and knowledgeable, humorous and patient, probably the best tour guide I’ve ever met. The whole tour was about 12 hours long , not a single dull moment, well, maybe the drive back home when everyone’s snoring in the back of the van lol. Highly recommend, definitely worth the money.

If I could give this tour 10/5 stars, I would. The tour guide Matteo was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable about the volcanos and Hawaii in general. Matteo and the company were prepared with anything anyone could need to have throughout the day including rain coats, flashlights, and blankets. Tour came with delicious lunch and dinner as well as snacks, water, cold drinks, hot cocoa and tea. Even the tour bus had USB ports, adjustable drink holders and walky talkys to communicate when the bus was noisy. This company truly thought of everything!

Adam was our driver guide. He is very energetic and enthusiastic about his work. We saw the boiling lava in the volcano crater using his telescope. Lunch and snacks were provided. Highly recommend this tour if you are interested in volcanoes.

Our volcano tour with guide Adam was a once in a lifetime experience. Adam was extremely knowledgable about both the area and volcanos. It was a long drive, but his information along the trip kept it interesting. The Volcano tube he took us to was outstanding. The company adjusted our tour time to allow for viewing the current volcanic eruption, and even threw in an additional dinner meal that was delicious! Adam even brought his personal telescope for better vowing of the Lava flow! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the Big Island Volcanos.
