Chiara is a very nice young lady but, unfortunately, not as well prepared as many other guides we have had. Her English is also below expectations which added to our frustration. Maybe a better fit for Italian speakers that are not looking for information / guidance.

We bought lunch and brought it the oldest tavern in Bologna! Learned about the university and some of the buildings and architecture downtown. It was the perfect thing to do for our first day…..

We had a lovely guide, a native Bolognese, who was personable and knowledgeable on the city's history and locales. We threw an unspecified plan at Giacomo and he was great at showing us the city in the non-tourist fashion that we prefer.

Mirko was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide with a wealth of information about Bologna. My wife and I had a very special day. It was the highlight of our trip. Because he had lived for a brief time in the United States he was able to contrast the differences in the cultures which made our tour particularly insiteful.

Antonia was remarkable! There would have been no way we could have seen as much as we dud without her. She was so knowledgeable and went out of her way to find us things we were interested in seeing and doing! Would highly recommend this tour and using Antonia!

Saw the old Jewish ghetto. Thought we would see today’s lifestyles of present day but we got lots of historic info. Asked for a mix and didn’t get it.

Guides need training

Our trip was supposed to be bicycling and food tastings. We bicycled hard for two hours. No tastings just a stop for lunch. Our guide told no stories about the city just pointed things out.

I had a lovely day! Adèle was so nice and educated me on the culture and historical sights of Bologna. She was so sweet. Got some exercise- walking. Pizza 🍕 , granitas. Saw many churches ⛪️, and towers, secret window, Adèle was quite helpful , as I attempted to converse with the local Italians. She was so kind to pick me up and take me back to my hotel. It was a wonderful experience!!
