Bologna, vibrant, intelligent layered in a wealth of history

The oldest University, centuries of history dating back to the 13th century. The energy and welcoming feel of the walls and it’s people. Loved food, the churches and the towers. A college town full of life and rich in history! Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. After three hours of walking through Bologna learning about the history and the culture we felt like we were locals. I recommend you take this tour the first day you’re in bologna so that you’ll feel comfortable moving around the city center. I grade this tour A+.

We learned interesting things about the character of the Bolognese people--their sense of independence--and about the relationship between Jewish people and Christians in the history of the city.
