Good tour of the heart of Bologna

Good tour. Learned a lot about the city. The guide was good. English was decent, better than my Italian for sure, but not 100% fluent. Didn’t detract from the tour, but occasionally struggled to understand her. Maybe slightly overpriced for what you get, but I did find Bologna to be surprisingly expensive compared to other cities in Italy (it’s more on par price-wise with Florence and Rome). Overall, no regrets with the tour.

Turns out it was just me and my husband on this tour. Isadora is a friendly knowledgeable guide who covered so much in a short amount of time. She knew the perfect balance of history and food. This tour was short and sweet and just what you need for Bologna.

Isadora was a great and thorough tour guide! She's also a great storyteller, taking her time to give you the history and background of our entire surroundings than just telling us what we're seeing. We felt like we were incredibly immersed and vested in the history of Bologna after our tour with her. We took her tour the first day of our visit, and it was a treat to have someone guide us around the little alleyways and show us the sights we probably wouldn't have ventured into. We also took many other different tours after hers, and she definitely stood out above the rest with her knowledge and history of Bologna.
