    A wonderful way to spend a night in Bologna. Cesarine was incredibly warm, welcoming and personable. The class was more than an opportunity to learn how cook. It was also an excellent way to learn how locals live through good conversation and dinner together at the end of the night. I highly recommend this activity for anyone interested in upskilling in the kitchen, learning more about the Italians and anyone missing a home cooked meal.

    Oriana opened up her home and was so great with the kids. The cooking lessons were amazing which if course resulted in one of the best meals I’ve eaten. We also discussed history, politics, travel and family! We all really enjoyed it.

    Oriana was a great host. Amazing view from the apartment and we had a great time making all different types of pasta, appetizer and a unique tiramisu. We are definitely going to make those again at home. But I think the best part was interacting with her family during dinner because it gave us an authentic Italian family experience, which we loved. Talked and laughed a lot. Really recommend.

    We LOVED learning and cooking with our host Rosa! Rosa was super welcoming, friendly, and passionate about cooking! She introduced us to her very cute cat, and followed up over email with recipe details. We had an amazing time with memories to take back home! Our only (minor) frustration was with the directions provided by the parent company (Cesarine). We arrived ~10 minutes early to the address provided, but waited 40 minutes until we were able to find someone (a helpful neighbour) to help us find our host. Cesarine did not provide a "buzz code" or apartment number, so both host and guest were unable to find each other. Thankfully it all worked out!

    We were matched with Valentina through Viator / Cesarine and we had a wonderful time learning 3 new recipes. Tagliatelle al Ragu Bolognese, Tiramisu and an antipasto dish (crema di mortadella). It was a fabulous experience learning these techniques in someone's home. Valentina was a fun and accommodating hostess, she brought her personal experience, and charm to the table (no pun intended). We ate together "family style" with her daughter and sister joining us. It was the perfect way to cap our last night in Bologna.

    We had the most amazing experience with Alessandra! There was 8 of us (her biggest group) and she made everything so organized for us and made sure everyone got a part in making food. We made the most delicious meals and loved every minute of it. We can’t thank her enough.

    Cristina cooking experience was excellent. She hosted us in her bed and breakfast. We had two adults and two 9-year old twins. She was amazing. We made 3 local treats: Tigelle, Tagliatelle and Tiramisu. She was excellent at instruction, was patient with the twins and the experience was fun. The class was truly like a home stay experience where we made local food, interacted with local, friendly people and eat excellent food. She has 20+ years of bed and breakfast experience and it was evident. Definitely recommend the cooking class and make certain you ask for Cristina! You can also stay at her bed and breakfast, which was very nice

    We went over Alessandra's home who was amazing at guiding us, especially me with no experience. The food was delicious and she made sure to help out when needed. She was also a great host and easy to communicate with. Was overall a very personal environment that was both educational and fun

    Our hosts went out of their way to provide a perfect day of cooking and conversation! They were so knowledgeable and gracious. We felt Ecompletely at home in their home, and came away with as my husband will tell you an experience that has changed us. Never again will a box of store bought noodles again be purchased!

    Our expectation was to learn how to make pasta and taste the dishes and the reality was so much more. Simply put this is one of the strongest memories we take away from our holiday thanks to Oriana and her family. So welcoming, amazing to see how people live in Bologna, felt part of the family eating lunch together. Food was fantastic and lots of secret tips. First day back back home made pasta! And will do so again and again. A course like this adds a different dimension to any holiday, learning more about local life and cuisine. First time and will book again. Thanks a million Oriana!

    Making traditional food from Bologna with Oriana & her mother in Oriana's beautiful home was the best part of our whole trip. Fun, gracious, delicious and absolutely better than we could have imagined. Lovely morning & afternoon in Bologna!!

    Waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen. 8x144Euro ist viel Geld für ein eine Vorspeise ein Teller Pasta und ein Stück Kuchen! Ich erwarte bei einen Kochkurs, dass alles was wir essen auch selber gekocht wird. Gemäss Buchung sollten die Getränke inklusive sein!Waren sehr erstaunt das nicht mal ein Kaffee zum Dessert serviert wird! Würde es niemals weiter empfehlen !!! Sehr enttäuschend es war ein Geburtstag Geschenk!

Of course beverages are inclueded, also coffee if the guests want it :-) She also provided candles for the dessert, as it was the birthday of one of the guest.
