Wine tour DELUX
Fred_A, May 2023
We had the most awesome guide, Remi to take us round the area. He was exceptionally educated on several subjects, very entertaining and a great host. He went out of his way to facilitate everyone and took the extra mile to get us that last "top-up" to our wine. Wonderful day, safely traveled, thoroughly enjoyed.

Thank you for your excellent comment! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the A la Française experience with our guide Rémi. Do not hesitate to contact us the next time you come to France, to visit Bordeaux again or another "A la Française" region: Provence, Loire Valley, Champagne. Sincerely, Bordeaux A la française team

We had a whole day trip. First half day was nice. Then we went back to Bordaux city and had lunch in the office for a short while. Did not have time to finish the lunch since the guide needed to pick ut some more people for next half day tour. Then we went to 2 other winery, but same story - just repeat. When you book 1 day trip, there should be some variation on the tour. The last half day was very boring:- Guide was excellent.

A lot of time well spent in the wine wasting. The aroma workshop also help us to understand wine better

Loved this tour. Amazing chateaus. Good guides. The only comment would be that it would have been good to know up front that we could buy wine and ship back to Australia from the tour office. Instead we purchased at cellar doors where the shipping was incredibly expensive. Had we of known we would have purchased from the tour office and shipped heaps home for 50 euro. Otherwise great day

Not very well organised. This tour operator was not directly connected to The Bordeaux Office of Tourism and so the standards were not as high. The guides were late, the transport was small and cramped and many things were disorganised. The wineries were also not of the same quality in terms of tour information and enthusiasm as the ones offered by The Bordeaux Office of Tourism. The guides were friendly and nice but the overall package was not great. The lunch was a hastily put together plastic bag pack lunch and not a nice sit down lunch as with the other tours we went on.

The chateaus were beautiful. My biggest problem was lunch. You are gone from 9:44am-7:30pm and all we got was a cup of couscous and a muffin. It was also weird eating in the tour guides office. I've been to other torus where they bring you a bag lunch and you eat on the property. Not sufficent for a day.

Wonderful day and a wealth of information about the French wine making processes. The guides were lovely and very knowledgable and patient! It can get a bit drawn out with four winery tours on the one day, but I definitely learned something new at each place! Would recommend this to anyone

Muy bonito paseo. Es más bonito Saint Emilion que Medoc. Muy buenos viñedos, con grandes explicaciones. La guía de la van muy inexperta pero con buena actitud. El almuerzo muy pobre.
