What To Expect

Boston’s original “frightseeing” tour is an evening of fear and fun. Climb aboard the Trolley of the Doomed for an experience unlike any other. Uncover Boston’s darkest secrets and hear the stories of those lost souls who many locals believe still wander the streets and alleys of this historic town.

Learn about some of the city’s most sinister characters, from Albert DeSalvo, better known as the Boston Strangler, to Jane Toppan, aka Jolly Jane, one of the most prolific serial killers in American history.

Walk through two of the oldest burial grounds in Boston, including Old Granary, the final resting place for many notable Revolutionary War-era patriots like Samuel Adams, John Hancock and Robert Treat Paine, plus Paul Revere and the five victims of the Boston Massacre. Also, visit the site of the biggest grave-robbing scandal in New England’s history.

Come with an open mind and see if any ghosts appear. It’s a ride on the dark side.

Not the best tour
Catherine_T, Jun 2023
It was pouring rain and too wet to enjoy the jokes at cemetery, but they kept coming. All the actors tried.
Just Book IT!
Anca_O, Jun 2023
Very interesting experience visiting old graveyards. I took a picture of Paul Revere’s Tomb and may have gotten a piece of someone in it 👻
Wet tour not so fun
G_M, Jun 2023
Credit to the employees - they tried. The main issue was rain - A lot of it. It would be great if they offered ponchos at additional cost - main story teller had the mic so close to her mouth you could get 3 out of 10 words used. Go when it’s dry! Probably would have been fun if I wasn’t drenched. Couldn’t see out of the wet plastic windows. Disappointed
Really theatrical and...

Really theatrical and detailed explanation. Was not cringy like most tours I've been to which cater only to kids
Overpriced in my opinion
Patrenia_O, Jun 2023
This tour was alright. However I feel it is overpriced for what you get. I learned a few interesting facts, nothing earth shattering. Staff were great and stayed in character. In particular the actor at the last stop was a fantastic performer!
Spooky fun and interesting tour!
Cynthia_L, Jun 2023

My 2 boys and I had a great time on the tour. Stella was hilarious and interesting story teller. More gruesome than scary.
An experience you won't forget!

Stella was a lot of fun. It was a fun way to see some sights. I would definitely recommend this as night time venture!
Excellent guide
Tansu_D, May 2023
The guy in the picture is amazing. He is a great actor and a guide at the same time. U have never ever seen anyone as good as him. He does the Paul Revere gravesite. Of course there are.others and you are not guaranteed that he will be your guide. The whole trip is worth it just for that. You go to copp hill cemetery in north end, drive around a bit in Boston, then stop at Boston common and walk to Paul revere's grave.
Great!
Lauren_C, May 2023
Me and my 10yr old went! Great time! You could tell the people cared about the experience! Thank you! 🤗

Very informative
Leo_H, May 2023
The tour guide was very knowledgeable, he told us very interesting details the entire time, we learned a lot.. he played the part very well... well spoken !! But the person who stole the show was the young lady at the grave site... I think she was fantastic, animated. Kept our attention, amazing performance she should be on Broadway or movies...!!!! We went 5/25/23
Ghost story
Fatemeh_N, May 2023
This tour was very nice. Love the tour guide and her beautiful ghost stories. Visiting historical places at night is really interesting.
Wasted $107
Tammy_F, May 2023
Some of the historical context was interesting, the hosts were odd and over the top, so rehearsed and forced. Disrespectful of the cemetery and the grounds, walking and pacing while presenting behind the chains, off the paved areas.
Response from Host, May 2023
