Florin is one of the best guide I ever had. He is very knowledgeable about Romanian history and culture. He provided the big picture and on demand answered any query. My 6-year old child learnt a lot also during the visits. He is speaking fluently English, Spanish and other languages.

Our tour guide Florin was amazing. We met at the collection point and from the start to the end of the trip he was telling us recommendations and interesting facts about the area and the castles. He got us to Bran castle early and we were the first ones there with the place to ourselves! Florin also came into the castles with us and gave us lots of interesting facts inside. Great trip, great day and great tour guide. Would definitely recommend.

A small group tour through highlight of Transylvania

Florin was our guide. He did a brilliant job of doing the tour in both Spanish and English and was a safe driver. Brasov is a great place to start a historical tour of Transylvania. It is a beautiful city. Both Bran Castle and Peles Castle are worth the trip. It was nice being in a small group and not on one of the large tour buses. The experience was much more personal and Florin did a great job of answering questions and then interpreting them into the other language. We would highly recommend this day trip from Brasov with Flip Flop Tours.

Knowledgeable Guide Makes A Tour Great

Our guide, Florin, was cheery and very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot from him on this tour. A good guide makes all the difference when one visits Bran and Peles because he is able to tell you so much more information than what is written on the display stands, and that is exactly what Florin did. The second stop at Rasnov seemed a little bit of a waste to me since the place wasn't open, so I wouldn't have missed it if we skipped that stop. Peles was super crowded by the time we got there later in the day, so consider going on a weekday perhaps.

The tour covers the peles and bran castles and Rasnov fortress. Guide was friendly, accommodating, told us everything we needed to know and was so helpful and nice. Well planned , we even managed to beat Sunday traffic. Overall a very enjoyable experience .. We had a lovely time and felt like we fit in so many things in just a few hours. You should definitely book it!

The tour started promptly and the guide was extremely knowledgeable and managed the timetable well. We hit each location (Bran, Rasnov fortress and Peles) with seamless ease, and no quee. I was expecting a lot of delays and dreaded long waits at the castles, but this tour went without a hitch The guide also had a broad knowledge of current affairs, history and critical information pertaining to the locations visited as well. Long tiring day... too much time in the Van.

The two castles and fort were all really interesting in different ways, and all worth the visit. Unfortunately doing all three at the peak of tourist season meant long drives stuck in heavy traffic at the hottest time in the summer. Our tour operator did not seem to understand the impacts of time on our schedule. No time for lunch stop... and limited time at each site. During the peak season I wouldn’t recommend this. Better to see them each individually than trying to cram them all in. They are all worth a visit.

Dear MightyMouse, After more that three years doing this Castles Tour, in all seasons and all conditions, with all the nice and sometimes more than kind reviews of our guests, we will be the first to admit that a tour did no go well, nobody's perfect and it is always room to improve. But this time we will not agree with your "poor" rating, even if we respect all our guests reviews. Indeed, we faced unusually heavy traffic on our way to Peles on a Friday, so out of our control. But despite that, we have managed to enter the Castle in time and allow also 20-25 minutes for sandwiches on the terrace, as we usually do. If not for the traffic, it would have been 30 minutes or more, but we consider seeing the Castle inside is really important. I would like to mention that in both other stops ( two hours in Bran and more than one hour in Rasnov ) we have allowed free time and you have also bought snaks - kurtos colacs and sandwiches at Peles Castle. Now, this is the opinion of the Spanish couple who sat close to you, they were kind enough to let me use it here: "Excelente, el guía puntual, atento, simpático y además habla español a la perfección." I guess they are way too different for the same tour, even without translation. We strongly suggest next time you do not book a Three Castles Tour for a very easy day. We and TripAdvisor Experiences also offer Two Castles tours and great culinary tours with private transfers. We would like to remind you the free services you have received out of courtesy before, during and after the tour, services you were supposed to pay for, and that the AC system of the van was working well to keep out the heat of the Transylvanian summer. To close this, we strongly disagree with your "poor" rating, even if we admit it was a longer than usual day due to out of our control traffic issues. Florin Cristea

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide, Florin, was very interesting and informative. Though we saw three attractions, we never felt rushed and had a good amount of time in each location. I have to say that Bran Castle was my favorite of the three, but Rasnov and Peles were also great. I highly recommend this tour!
