This tour was my favorite day of my entire trip to Romania. I loved everything about it. The Bear Sanctuary is an amazing place, Bran Castle is beautiful, and Rasnov Fortress is awe-inspiring. Mimi was my guide, and she is incredibly knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics. It was like getting a fun history lesson, along with a first-hand perspective on Romania and its past. She's also super friendly and made the day a ton of fun. I'd 100% recommend this tour to anyone who loves animals and/or who enjoys some really interesting history.

The tour operator was really quick to respond to our queries and rather than us meet at a pick up, point kindly picked us up from our accommodation. We were picked up at the agreed time and enjoyed our day. The bear sanctuary was a lovely experience and we saw lots of bears. It is very sad to hear how the bears had been treated so cruelly and the sanctuary are doing amazing work. After visiting the castle (which was very touristy and busy but has to be seen!) we were given some time to have a wander and grab some lunch .

My favourite experience in Romania! Bogdan was a perfect guide - friendly, funny and full of historical information and entertaining facts. He made sure we'd experienced each site to the fullest, so we never felt rushed and finished out day feeling very satisfied! I’m so glad I chose to do this tour. It was just me and the guide, Bogdan, and as a solo female traveller I felt comfortable the whole time. Bogdan is really friendly and informative - I learnt so much from him and he answered any and all questions I had. The Bear Sanctuary, Bran castle and Rasnov fortress were all great. As a big plus we were also able to skip the VERY long line at Bran Castle! Thanks for a fantastic day!

An excellent tour with a great guide!

We did the day tour from Bravos to the Bears Sanctuary, Rasnov Fortress and Bran Castle and absolutely loved it. Our guide, Adriana, was excellent and knew all there was to know about the history of the area and the places we visited. We learned so much about everything, and by the end of the tour Adriana felt like an old friend. Would definitely recommend!

What a great day trip with Mimi as our knowledgeable tour guide! My fiance and I were the only people on the tour that day, and it was an informative, fun eight hour trip. We loved the Libearty Sanctuary and hearing the stories of the bears that were brought to the area. Learned a ton about Bran and Rasnov as well - we are typically not people who take tours, but Mimi brought to life the history of the people behind the buildings and structures, which led us to appreciate what we were seeing so much more. The lunch stop she recommended was delicious as well - we got a lamb pastrami and mici sausages, filling and yummy! One tip, some of the entrance fees are cash only, so bring some lei with you!
