Our tour guide, his name was Paul, was very excited about the area and eager to share his knowledge- -he could almost not restrain himself from sharing additional bits of information. It was refreshing to have a guide so interested in his work. I feel that I genuinely experienced the area and heartily recommend this tour to others who are interested in the beauty of the coast near Brighton.

I loved getting out of Brighton and connecting with nature on this tour. Our tour guide, Kevin was knowledgeable and a fantastic driver of our mini bus as we traversed tiny windy roads. The scenery was spectacular. The lunch stop at a small village was perfect as the participants could choose to eat a pub lunch, visit a tearoom, or purchase food at the village store deli and have a picnic. Many chances to have a toilet stop were given. This day trip is perfect for tourists, like me, who are not driving around England, but taking the train.

Kevin effortlessly transported from the busy Brighton to the rolling hills of the South Downs. The day flew by as we traveled all about. We Will remember this visit forever. Definitely a highlight of our visit. Highly recommend.

Amazing day trip to the Seven Sisters

Absolutely fantastic day-long tour! Our guide, Adam, brought a delightful blend of fun and expertise to the experience. His engaging narratives, weaving history and captivating mythological stories, added so much more fun to the trip. When arriving by train in Brighton, avoid leaving the station after exiting through the ticket gates. Instead, walk to the left and then to the rear of the station by taking the road adjacent to the tracks. We had come out of the station front and it was a bit tricky to figure out as the phone GPS didn't work.

Pick up at the hotel went smoothly. Our tour guide Paul was funny and very knowledgeable about the area. We saw all of the areas that were listed on the website with sufficient time to take photos and walk around. My only complaint is that the tour was advertised for a maximum of 6 guests, but our van had about 20 people on it.

Best day trip of our week! Adam is an amazing guide and kept us entertained the entire trip. He also went out of his way to drop a few of us off closer to the pier at the end (saving us the walk). There is a bit of walking (and climbing over a small gate) on this trip (some might consider it light hiking); in any case, good comfortable shoes are needed. This is a full day trip (drop off around 5pm), if you want to see other things in Brighton, check the closing times when planning your day.

We were a small group and Adam was such a great guide, always taking care of us while we had plenty of time discovering on our own (never far away if you needed him or had questions)! A lot of people did the trip from Brighton by themselves but I would certainly recommend doing this one, not only do you get plenty of interesting infomation about the area (including some folklore) but get to see spots you can't go by yourself all too easily... Also, you get to see places that are a bit away from the crowds with astonishing views and time to enjoy nature while walking. I really enjoyed it a lot, thank you so much! Among all the trips from Brighton this one has been the best by far!! (Sidenote: Also a great trip to do if you're travelling by yourself)

This is a terrific excursion that I would recommend highly to anyone visiting the Brighton area. Lawrence was a knowledgable guide who is based in and truly loves the area. He was able to share his knowledge of the Seven Sisters, South Downs, and surrounding areas in an interesting way that encompassed history, agriculture, geology, and pop culture. We learned a lot while seeing some stunning views and countryside. There were several stops that were all worth it including a stop at a charming, working farm for lunch. After this tour, I got insights that will be useful when I return in the future. And I will return as Lawrence transmitted his admiration and respect for this amazing natural landscape to me and, I am sure, all who were part of this tour on this exceptional April day.

The seven sister’s was the main highlight of the trip. The group was brought to several locations where you could get a view of the seven sister’s. The best view was from a more secluded area, and there was an amazing view of the chalk cliffs. As part of the tour I was brought to other sites of interest such as the devil’s dyke and an ancient carving of a man on the side of the hill. We also went to middle farm, where I had the opportunity to buy some local ciders to try later. Our guide Lawrence was knowledgeable and friendly and looked after the group. At the end of the tour he brought people who needed it to the train station and he dropped me and three other passengers close to their accommodation in Brighton. This experience would be difficult to organise independently.

The tour guide was absolutely amazing, gave us so much information about the area and so much more, full of insights about the culture and history.
