Great Waffle Class

Fun class with people from many countries. Different types of waffles were explained and then as duos prepared waffle batter and griddled! Many great toppings to try out!

We were originally unsure of where to go because the workshop location isn't in a traditional storefront location (the place isn't well marked...just a 30 on the white wall next to a small market shop). Once we found we were in the correct location, we were thrilled with the place. Very cool atmosphere and very clean. We had an absolutely wonderful experience!! My son and I had a fantastic time making AND eating our waffles. Our "guide" Amelia was amazing!! She was so personable and helpful in ensuring we all knew what we were doing. The waffles and ALL of the toppings were great...and there were SO many topping options. We travel quite a bit and this experience was one of the best we have had in our many years of travel. Highly recommend it!

This was a nice, hour long activity that provided my wife, teenage son and I with a welcome alternative to trudging around the streets in the rain. After a slow start the workshop kicked into gear when we started to mix the batter. There were about a dozen other participants, including children younger than my son, which was probably about the right number, albeit that also meant there weren't enough waffle irons to allow everyone to cook their batter at the same time. All of the ingredients, and a drink, were included in the price.

Booked this based upon prior reviews and they proved to be right. Super fun experience learning about the different types of waffles. Instructor was fun, kind, and informative. Sharing the fun with others was great. You cant go wrong booking this activity; its perfect, for couples, singles, families and friends.

Our family enjoyed all aspects of the waffle workshop. Loved the history of waffles, there recipe, the space, the air conditioning was a welcome surprise!

Overall it was a fairly priced cooking class and time well spent. Our instructor was patient and the unlimited waffles/toppings made it feel worthwhile. However, it is important to note that for a family of four you only get one cooking station. Essentially, the more people you bring does not increase the amount of batter you get. That aspect of it felt less interactive, given that not everyone in the group can cook at once. That being said, it was great. Belgian waffles in Belgium!
Nice workshop but Not Liege Waffles

Very Nice staff! Cute facility. Enjoyed learning bit of history of waffle. The waffles are not the liege waffles that we normally associate with Belgium. Instead they are the Brussels waffles, which are made with liquid batter and are very similar to regular waffles. We were in a group of three, which is too many. Not enough for 3 people to do. I just took pictures of the others and did nothing with the prep. If you have a bigger group make your reservation in groups of two. Very good activity with kids. We ate the waffles that we made with toppings, which was very nice.

The title of the activity is Brussels Waffle Workshop....that's why we make Brussels Waffles during the workshop! We make those because they taste great with many toppings while the Liège ones are usually eaten plain.

We had a lovely time learning about the Belgium waffles and the differences between them. We enjoyed eating 3 delicious waffles each with a range of toppings. Only thing that we felt could’ve been improved would be a bit more demonstration on some parts e.g. separating the egg whites- we were really bad at this!

My children and my niece love it. It is good thst they did. In order to reach this tour , me and my parents misded a very expensive Beer tour. They did not even answer us the phone. Do not reserve Marc"s Beer tour. They dont have any respect for the old tourists or their money. Take The waffle one and buy your Beer.

Our host was very knowledgeable and funny. All supplies were provided and everything was explained thoroughly. There were lots of topping options as well. A gluten-free option was also provided for one group who required it. The waffles were really tasty

Jose is an excellent cooking guide and even had gluten free flour to let my Celiac self participate. It was wonderful to eat Belgian waffles and not have a reaction. Our family had a great time!

The instructor was lovely and really friendly and we made and ate a good amount of waffles. My one complaint and the reason this isn't a 5 star review is that we were paired up with other people we didn't know. We were under the impression that it would be a small class and those who booked together would get their own station. But we had to share one bowl/ingredients with two solo bookers. The instructor did give us more ingredients to make a second batch so we wouldn't lose out on quantity but I wasn't expecting to have to work with strangers

We all enjoyed the history/walk yo the venue. Our guide was sweet. The facility was really cool. Procedures were easy, fun and delicious. Do not eat before you go!!
