Get on a raft to experience the Royal Gorge’s exciting whitewater to ride the rapids and go through deep canyons in Canon City, CO. This rafting adventure will take you on Class-III to Class-V rapids, so be prepared to have some fun. You must be a strong swimmer and have had paddling experience to go on this adventure. But your guide will be there to take care of you, too.

From Colorado Springs, take I-25 to exit 140, and follow Hwy 115 South to Hwy 50. Turn right (west) on Hwy 50 and travel West through Canon City. From Canon City continue 8 miles West on Hwy 50, and turn left on County Rd 3A (Signs for Royal Gorge Park & Bridge). Journey Quest is approx 1/4 mile on the right in front of the Royal Gorge KOA. Plan on just over an hour from Downtown Colorado Springs.

Fun, fast, and exhilarating

Our trip was Epic! Luke was a terrific guide and very knowledgeable about the History of the Royal Gorge and how to navigate the rapids.
I was cold during the morning half of trip and at lunch Luke called in for a dry jacket and a fleece to add warmth.
I had no idea that Journey Quest was part of a Christian Wilderness Ministry when I booked, but there really isn’t any religious components to the trip except for a quick safety prayer at the beginning of the trip- which I think was an added bonus. Luke kept us safe- and it was an beautiful adventure!
Absolutely breathtaking and fun!

The entire trip was fantastic, but rafting through the gorge was breathtaking! Mark (owner and our guide) was a highly skilled, informative and wonderful host!
