From Colorado Springs, take I-25 to exit 140, and follow Hwy 115 South to Hwy 50. Turn right (west) on Hwy 50 and travel West through Canon City. From Canon City continue 8 miles West on Hwy 50, and turn left on County Rd 3A (Signs for Royal Gorge Park & Bridge). Journey Quest is approx 1/4 mile on the right in front of the Royal Gorge KOA. Plan on just over an hour from Downtown Colorado Springs.

Such a great day. Kileen was a terrific guide, super positive and sweet. We are not religious at all and I booked this place without reading the website closely so I almost canceled. I’m so glad I didn’t. Except for the prayer at the start (Which no one cared tht we didn’t participate in), there was no preaching or uncomfortable questions. It was just rafting and swimming and a nice day.

Great first time white water rafting and felt totally comfortable with the instructions before the trip.
Steve was a great river guide, very knowledgeable and totally confident in his abilities on the water.
My wife and I highly recommend this company and it’s staff very professional.

Fun and Fantastic Ride

Our rafting guide August took us plunging through several class II and class III rapids on our way down the Arkansas River. It was refreshingly wet and cold on a super-hot July day. We all had a great time frantically paddling our way through the rough whitewater, and conversing through the relatively calm stretches. It was a wild ride and a wonderful day. Many thanks to August and to Journey Quest!

We were celebrating my fiancé birthday with his dad and younger siblings. It was a blast. Not overly difficult and just a lot of fun!! I would recommend calling the place directly as it’s cheaper to purchase tickets through then than it is through here. However it was a great experience that we will never forget!!
