Overview

Take a pass on the busy tourist catamarans when you visit Capri, and see the island by private boat instead. Bookable for private groups of up to six people, the traditional Caprese boat is skippered by a local who will steer you on a scenic route past the island’s famous grottoes and “faraglioni” rocks. Swim stops are part of the cruise.

For those arriving from Positano, please consider booking a 12 PM slot or later, as ferries from Positano are often cancelled in the early morning or delayed. In case of late arrival, we cannot guarantee the tour. Thank you

Poor customer service

We were very disappointed in the service. When we arrived they appeared to not have a boat saved for us. Lots of arguing between the workers. Our tour started 20 minutes late. The ladder on the boat was broken and the captain admitted a guest the day before had broke it. So that limited our ability to swim. Which was half of the point of the trip. Our captain was constantly talking on his cell phone and the brought us back 15 minutes early. I would seriously look at using another company or just find someone day of. Also they only provided two damp towels. And the cooler only had one soda and water. It is very obvious they were not planning for our trip. Even though we booked far in advance. I feel like we should get some kind of a refund.

Dear Heidi, we are very sad to read your review, especially because your tour took place 2 weeks ago and we were in contact with you all the time but, apart your arrival time by ferry, you didn’t tell us about your disappointments before. We could have found a solution or could have verified what really happened by checking the boat or talking to the skipper immediately….it is very hard to verify now.

Worth the waves

The beauty of the island from the sea cannot be beat. Sailing around and seeing the cliffs and grottos was amazing. The water is so clear we could see to the bottom while swimming.

Must do on Capri. Great way to see the beautiful island in the water and cool off in the ocean. Don’t hesitate, book!

Boat captain great and charming, you have control if you want to use your time to wait for Blue Grotto or your around the island and swim. Its not to be missed!
