Our trip to the Vally of the Temples and the Roman Villa at Casale turned out to be a great experience, despite a somewhat bumpy and noisy ride in the Fiat minivan. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide Iorga went out of his way to explain us :-) Very much recommend!

I really enjoyed visiting the Valley of the Temples and Villa Romana des Casales. Very interesting. Beautiful temples and mosaics. Well organized excursion. We had a nice lunch in a village. I am very pleased about everything. Both the guide and the driver were nice and helpful.

The trip was wonderful. So much to see on sites and along the way. The guide and the driver were great guys, very friendly and helpful. We were treated to nice snacks and a good bottle of Sicilian wine to the bargian!

Our excellent driver and licensed guide Iorga brought history to life for us. He is a knowledgeable historian. The included lunch was lovely. The drive was spectacular! Of course, these sites are worth every moment!
History and heat, the essential Sicilian experience

My partner and I met our guide at the central station in Catania which was very handy as we were staying in Taormina. The guide was funny and knowledgable, not only the sites being visited, but the island of Sicily as a whole. We also were lucky enough to be in good and entertaining company which made the journey fly by. We first visited the Villa Romana del Casals, touring the beautiful mosaics and also modern additions of art that has been installed there. After this, we enjoyed a superb lunch at a local restaurant with some wine made the the tour operators locally in the region of Catania. Then, we journeyed to the Valley of the Temples - an excellent and interesting visit which really is the jewel in the ancient crown of Sicily. I would encourage people to take plenty of water and hats when travelling to these sites in the summer months. It was incredibly hot with no real cover at the temples - other than the olive trees. The journey back was quicker than we thought and we made it back to Catania in good time to meet our train. The guide was very accommodating with drop off points - one couple got dropped at the airport, as an example. We would highly recommend the tour.

Afterwards we were dropped off in Siracusa. That service was exemplary. The rest of the trip was soso. We had to drive too much and it was hot at our destinations.

Wonderful experience. It was a jam packed van and our guide Antonio was very knowledgable. He answered all our questions and provided all help when needed. the lunch place was amazing and we had a great time.

My huaband picked this tour and I was a little skeptical at first. However, it turned out to be our favorite part of the trip. Our travel guide, antonio, was friendly and helpful. The ruins are spectacular in person, even our kids (9,3,1) enjoyed walking around, looking, and learning about them. After the ruins we had a snack, then antonio brought us out to lunch. After we got to view the "stairs of the turks" and spend some time at the neighboring beach. The most beautiful clear water, white sand, beach! The whole family loved this trip so much.

Our tour guide was Antonio. He was amazing, great information, friendly, and patient with us and our little ones. The valley of temples were a site to see, to say beautiful does not do justice. Definitely bring water and sunscreen as there is not much shade, antonio had some in case we didn't. I was pleasantly surprised at how stroller friendly most of the walk was. After the temples we had a snack, then lunch, and then got to see the "stair of the turks" which is another beautiful site that is beyond words. We got to spend a little time at the beach close by, the water was clear and the kids (the whole family) loved it. Definitely recommend this tour.

The whole tour was excellent, the driver guide daniel, was very knowledgeable and helpful, good explanation, good guiding, good culture, it was by far one of the best trip I had in Europe.

Gioele was great . Very knowledgeable. The food and wine tasting was delicious . Valley of the temples as I imagined it would be . Such a shame the two Heads that I wanted to photograph near the temples had been removed and taken elsewhere . This has nothing to do with the tour operaters . Highly reccomend Sicilly Day by Day

Antonio is an excellent driver and guide. He is a great traveler himself, speaks perfectly English and explained everything we need to know in the historical sites. Thanks to him we tried the best arancini and many other local specialties.

We really enjoyed our tour DINO is an excellent guide and driver. Exiting the Valley was quite confusing as the exit wasn’t well marked. The snack and wine break was really nice. Overall an excellent tour. Only suggestion is that Dino should use amplifier as it was really difficult to hear him.

The day trip was an amazing travel to the past. The Valley of the Temples and Villa del Casale are breath taking walks. Our guide, Carlos is an excellent guide he provided written guides and maps of the sites and fed us esencial information. At lunch time we went to a nice quiet place where we were served tasty local food. I strongly recommend this tour.

Simone was a great guide, very fun and taught us a lot about Sicily. The mosaics were spectacular. So privileged to see them. The temples are amazing .. Very hot there. A long drive from catania, 2 1/2 hours but we're glad we did it. Very comfortable bus. The lunch in the small village enoteca was so tasty...a selection of wonderful Sicilian food. A highlight

Antonio (Sicily Day By Day tours) was a superb tour guide/narrator. He shared many insightful stories about the area and the Sicilian people/culture -- sharing himself and his knowledge freely on a variety of topics. There were 4 couples traveling together and we all agreed Antonio was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Lunch was included (supposed to be "light snacks" and it was a very filling and excellent lunch. Highly recommended - especially if Antonio is your guide!!

Picked up on time and guided by friendly locals. Temples were excellent and not too far to walk. Mosaics were incredible - so many and so well preserved. Lunch was just a quick snack but nice local food and wine. Personal service.
