This was one of the highlights of our 2-week Italy trip. Regarding the tour itself, definitely worth the price. The sights were beautiful and experience unforgettable. The food tasting was fantastic - we bought half the gift shop when we left! And the staff there were extremely welcoming. What made the experience even better was our guide, Giuseppe. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and fun. He even dropped us off directly at the restaurant we had dinner at. Could not recommend this tour more!!!

They tour was wonderful. Giuseppe was a phenomenal tour guide. He is very knowledge of Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. We had about 8 of us in the tour. Our first stop was a cave that had been formed from the lava flow. Then we went to Enteca Dell'Etna, it is a farm that grows olives and grapes. We did a little tasting of the different olive oils and wines. The volcanic ash that the olives and grapes give the oils and wines a different taste (better than other wines). Then we made our way up to Etna. Here we went into an inactive crater and was explained the different color of rocks. Then we climbed up another crater to watch the sunset. The sunset was great (probably better in the spring and fall when not so much haze). I recommend this tour to everyone!!! We will definitely be coming back.

A solid all round tour with a bit of everything included. Food and drink a tasting was really interesting and well done. We spent a good amount of Etna walking around and watching the sunset. If you’re expecting more of a ‘hiking’ experience then this probably isn’t the right tour for you. We loved this trip however, as Dan made it for us. He’s a funny bloke that made the experience worthwhile

We were picked up right outside the door by the guide. he was very nice and had a lot of exciting knowledge about ethna which he told through the drive up. first stop was a hollow eye of the lava, we got helmets, lanterns and were well taken care of. after that we had a great tasting experience at a vineyard that had lots of exciting history. we drove on to a parking lot and went up to some of the craters, the view was beautiful and the walk up was just right! this was a great experience and one of the highlights of our vacation. this trip is really recommended by me and my friends!

Wow! What an amazing tour/trip! Giusseppe our tour guide was super knowledgeable and a fantastico storyteller. He made the trip so much fun. After the lava cave, we stopped at a winery and taste tested wine, olive oil, honey, and local liquor. Then we headed to the tallest crater for sunset. Was breathtaking! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone visiting Catania/Sicily.

A nice enough tour but nothing out of the ordinary

We had a really nice guide on our tour and overall a nice half day tour to Mount Etna. For what you get I do think the price is a bit too high though and I would recommend just going with the punlic bus (or if possible by private car) and reading up on the topic beforehand. All places we visited are easily accessible without a guide as well. Be aware that it says „tasting of honey, wine OR other local products“ - we did mistake this to mean that the tour would definitely include a wine tasting (which was our bad of course, though, just as an info in case you expect the same). There was a honey tasting in a tourist shop which was nice enough but not anything you could not have experienced in another shop selling local produce. Mount Etna is breathtaking of course and absolutely worth a visit, so if you think a guided tour is the best way for you, go with it, they are all roughly the same price and the same programme it seems. I personally did expect a bit more though after the other reviews.
