Only two of us on this class but made to feel very welcome. Really interactive and easy to follow recipes. Food was excellent and left feeling very good. Would recommend to others, but too much food to eat. Be warned you get a goody bag . We thought it was good value for money.

Friendly organisers but sadly very overpriced

The organisers (Simone and another lady who's name I cannot remember) were so friendly and clearly tried to put on a nice event, which is why I still rated this 3 stars. Unfortunately the ambiance of this cooking class is not what you'd expect from paying nearly $100. It's set in an undecorated industrial kitchen somewhere in the middle of a block of flats in Catania, and the instruction was very minimal (e.g. "you chop this," "you cook that"). Again, I do want to stress the organisers did really try to make it nice by setting the table, getting us coffee, and helping us cook a 3 course meal. However, for what we paid, this experience wasn't really worth it.

We are very sorry that you were not satisfied with the area in which our cooking laboratory is located (one of the most modern areas of the historic city centre, reachable by bus7taxi/subway adjacent to one of the streets with the most fashionable boutiques and shops vogue) and the internal decorations but being a professional laboratory with professional equipment inside we must respect the criteria of hygiene and sanitiziation which cannot be those of anapartment or a reception hall (this includes the decorative aspect) of which in any case we are very proud.
We are also very sorry that you think that the money you spent was too much, we want to provide a lesson made by real and qualified chefs (not just a local person) who while they tell you how to cut and explain the cooking of the recipes you make entirely with your hands (after the lesson, in addition to tasting them on the spot, you take all the redy-made dishes to the hotel/b&b/holiday home with you) they also explain small details on the local history of those dishes and are ready to answer all your questions requests.
We are very sorry but we are sure you enjoyed the local specialities we taught you to cook thanks for your review.
Great cooking lesson

Grazia and Agata were so lovely and so kind, according to our request they taught us to prepare vegan dishes 🌱. The class was very professional and each step in the cooking process came with an explanation.
Agata was amazing, so young with so much knowledge in cooking…
At the end of the course we sat down to eat what we had cooked including excellent red wine 🍷
We highly recommend this activity ❤️
