Not much that I can say just that it was perfect. Our guide, Alessio was the best. A fountain on knowledge and very personable. We had a ball. The places we were taken to were just a dream. Nearly everything was covered from the film, the cast, extras and more. I cannot recommend this tour enough. If you are a Godfather fan this is a must.

Excellent tour with Alessio who has knowledge and passion in abundance and made the experience a fantastic one. From Bar Vitelli to the Don Tomassi house (the house is not part of the official tour and an extra cost is required), we enjoyed every part of it, apart perhaps from the rain at the start of the tour! For any fan of the Godfather trilogy, this trip is a must. visiting key locations for some of the really big moments was a lot of fun. Alessio made the experience fresh and informative. He is clearly a big fan. We booked last minute as an existing similar booking with another operator was cancelled. Not a huge issue but you will be expected to pay for a couple of extras which are not really optional but they are worth it. including the villa visit should really have been in the basic cost and it would still have been great value. Don't let that put you off, we thoroughly enjoyed the day

An excellent tour. If you love The Godfather movies then this is the tour for you and Alessio is the perfect guide. I consider myself a movie buff but his research into the three movies, the making of them and the locations is incredible. We learned so much from his constant explanations and information and got to see some great sights as well as the locations.

DANIELA - FANTASTIC "GODFATHER" TOUR GUIDE!

We were a small group, lead by Daniela. She picked us up at our residence and drove us straight to Savoca. During the ride, she gave us tremendous info and insights into some details of the Godfather trilogy, including trivia about the actors, Coppola, footage discrepancies, etc. The span of her knowledge relating to the movies was astounding - she probably read every book, article, interview, etc. that is out there, and also seemed to have a true passion for relating the topic. That made our trip a memorable experience - we learned a lot, got all questions answered, got insights from Daniela that we did not expect. She even had specific footages relating to the pertinent (movie) places on her phone, that truly refreshed the memories of the movies and made the tour special. We stopped at the "Bar Vitelli", where Michael told the owner he wanted to date his daughter, Apollonia, had a coffee and a sweet, and took lots of pictures. Such fun to recall those scenes from the movie. Then, we walked up to the church, where they got married. From Savoca, we drove to Forza d'Agrò, where the stream of info continued. After touring the town and taking many pictures on the steps of the church where in the movie, they were looking for young Vito, Daniela arranged for lunch with the owners of "Eden", a small place on the square. The arancini the lady made where truly the best we've experienced in Sicilia! The house wine - superb, a local red. On the way home, we all basked in the wonderful memories just formed on the trip, chatted like old friends, and vowed to remain in touch. All in all, a trip worth having if you enjoyed the Godfather. As a small suggestion, should you decide to go on this trip, try to watch the movies before going. Makes the places come to life. Thank you Daniela and Viator for a truly memorable experience.

A fantastic experience enriched by a personable tour guide whose detailed and insightful knowledge of The Godfather movies is amazing. . Allesio is well read and versed in every dimension of the movies (eg production history) including subtleties ( foreshadowing symbols) I never picked up after watching the movies over and over again. He conveyed this information in an articulate and clear way. Everyone on the tour capped the day with applause!

What a great trip. We took my father as he is a huge fan and Alessio and Sandra were absolutely amazing. My mother and I ended up being captivated by the stories and background of this series. Sandra and Alessio we’re both a o knowledgeable and passionate about the three films as well as the history of the island itself. If there is an option to upgrade to the house/manor for 25€ know that it must be paid in cash but it is totally worth it! The tour also stops for food/coffee at two different locations and both are great. Thank you both for creating a truly enjoyable experience not only for my father but for my mother and I as well!

The Best Tour of Sicily

I'm not one to write reviews, ever!! But because this tour, tour company, and tour host, Sandra, I felt the need to let everyone know why this tour has been given 5 stars from everyone who had the same experience that I had. Sandra was very knowledgeable and without any kind of rush, took me and my significant other, Elsa, to every sight location, the movie was filmed. She would also at the end of each sight show us a clip of the movie from where that scene took place. She saved the best for last and experience I will never forget, the castle where alot of scenes of all 3 Godfather movies were filmed, the place where the car blew up when Appollonia was going to drive to Michael. I got to sit on the chair and take that Michael died on at the end of Godfather 3. Anyhow, I was in no way paid or benefited from doing this review. Just want everyone to know that it was an experience of a lifetime, especially if your a fan of The Godfather.... I would of paid 5 times the amount for what I experienced..

Unbelievable knowledge and uncredited fun experience with the most awesome guide I have ever been with!!! Alessio, the guide and driver had an incredible wealth of knowledge and love for the Godfather films (surpassing even my own love and knowledge) and he was incredibly kind and accommodated all our travellers needs throughout the day. Den perfekte tur. Den perfekte guide. Selv med børn på 12,10 og 4 så havde vi en fantastisk tur. Vi fik mange informationer omkring filmene, hvilket fik os til at glæde os til at se dem igen. Vi er fuldstændig forelsket i byen Savoca, som er nøjagtig som vi forestillede os en lille siciliansk by skal være. Fantastisk kirke og hyggelige besøg hos de lokale. Fantastiske mennesker.
