If the person is able to get into the Plantation Mansion and from room to room the tour guide can provide a chair for them to sit down on in each room. My Trip to Charleston SC
Griselda_F, Sep 2023
I enjoyed the presentation by the storyteller Ms Minerva . The seated guided tour of the plantation was informative and interesting, the garden next to the big house was beautiful. The sad part was the slaves quarters where one of those very small buildings housed 10 people at a time. I just can’t believe how humans can’t be so cruel to other humans. It’s part of our history and we cannot forget.
Must see!

The Splendor of Boone Hall

We loved our visit to Boone Hall Plantation. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. From the tour of the house, tractor ride through the property, the informative talks at each section and the overall beauty of the grounds, it was amazing.
Must visit on your next stop to Charleston.

My husband and I went to Charleston for the first time this weekend and Boone Hall was on our list of things to see. The Avenue of Oaks is every bit just as beautiful as it is in the pictures and movies. That was probably my favorite part. The tour of the main house lasted about 30-35 minutes and provided quite a bit of information. The tractor tour was interesting. Bring a mask to where if you are sensitive to the dust because the tractor kicks up a lot of it! The presentation on the history of the Gullah people and culture was great too.
Enjoyable Visit

The grounds were beautiful and the slaves homes were very interesting. We were very upset that the main home were only shown three rooms and pictures were not allowed.
Magnificent

The talking tour snd the Gulla experience with Frank. It was authentic and not sugarcoated. The House Tour was good as well.
Worthwhile to visit while in Charleston.

All inclusive ticket included a wagon ride around the property, house tour, tour of slave cabins and gullah story. Worthwhile afternoon to learn the history of slavery and the plantation. We took uber from downtown and was under $20 each way.

This was a great tour. I couldn't believe the experience and the cost. It is something you want to spend the day exploring! So much history! So much revitalization to the plantation and I loved how they used it as a teaching environment for students! A must see and do tour!
Lovely day with family.
