They assign your seats, but try for the front- a better view and you can hear more.

So, this is definitely a very Charleston staple experience. Who doesn’t love a good carriage tour?
However, I’d love to have seen some of the more famous spots. The biggest surprise was that we didn’t pass or mention the old jail.
However, we had a fun time and I’m glad my husband got to go on his first carriage tour.

Our entire family enjoyed this lovely evening tour of the city. Our guide was entertaining and informative and, of course, we all adored our horse, Mason. As a lifelong horse owner myself, it was very clear these animals are very well taken care of and well-trained.

Our driver was very animated and the cornball jokes were on point. His knowledge of Charleston's history was very impressive and I learned a ton. Our driver integrated his own personal experiences with some of the most haunted places and made for an engaging and highly entertaining time. The rest of the staff at the stables were incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this tour enough and will recommend this to anyone that is visiting Charleston. And don't be a schmuck, tip your driver.
